As the former owner of an '88 M5, give any BMW of this vintage wide berth. Wonderful car to drive, horrible car to maintain. Try $1,675 just for the part to replace the exhaust pipe, another $500 in labor. Try $800 to adjust the steering, because you have to take out and replace the airbag if you play with the column linkage. How about $350 to replace the oil, because the oil filter is upside down in a hard to get place...? And I owned it new, from '88 to '95 (I gave up after the exhaust replacement and sold it). Buyer beware.

NP just because V12, hoon the hell out of it then take it to the track! Plus look at those hips.... Love the wide bodies of the 80's!
