the morality police...you fail. Stop trying to govern morality. People should be free to open a casino if they want. The irony is most people against it will be Republicans who ramble on about freedom left and right, except republicans only believe in freedom that they like, because like Democrats, they're giant flaming hypocrites.

Is this the best idea that our elected officials came up with in response to the Massachusetts' venture into border city betting? Really?! What's next; one way tolls on roads OUT of Connecticut, headed toward Springfield, Massachusetts, to discourage people from leaving the state to gamble? We don't want tolls. We don't want more vice, like video gambling parlors where more Connecticut citizens can become addicted to gambling and ruin their lives. We don't want more taxes. We don't want more spending on an unneeded baseball stadium, a Magic Busway, and a Turtle Tunnel. So, what do our politicians do? Yup. That's right. Our politicians, led by BoonDannell Malloy, are unwilling to implement GAAP accounting principles into the state financial reporting process, and creating new ways to waster OUR hard earned money. Voting for Malloy is like gambling because its almost a sure thing your money will soon disappear.
