I agree with Carol B. Kimberly is to "showy" I think she would be better in musicals. I don't like her particular style. She is talented but not natural, Sawyer has actual honest God given talent both as a musician, singer and writer!

I think this may be Xtina's year; Kimberly definitely stole the show. I've heard "House of the Rising Sun" many a time, but Kimberly taught me what the song is about.
I so want to dislike Meghan, I actually try to honestly in on her imperfections. Problem is, she made me believe that she owned the heartache of that song...country may just be her ticket.
If I'm honest, Sawyer's rendition of "Imagine" wasn't my favorite, but Sawyer's raw genuine vulnerability won me over. "Can't hit that note, no matter, I love to sing this song." He was so nonchalant that I found myself wondering if he meant to do it.
The first time I saw Joshua, I thought Art Garfunkel. India needs to hang out with Hannah. Hannah could teach India how to laugh at herself and India could give of yourself helping Hannah become a better singer. Koryn can hold her own and has a lot of potential. Mia Z should write her own songs so she can truly embrace the blues. I feel sorriest for Deanna, she got pushed into a song she didn't want to sing, and it showed. As far as the three performers left, their performances were forgettable.

I just want to say that Adam usually does good in song choices, but the song chosen for Brian wasn't good at all. Brian has a beautiful voice and that is how he made it this far in the competition so he will have to ignore any bad comments that are made. There will always be haters. I hate when people let others get to them and focus more on what others think than on their own confidence. Let's face it, there are truly great singers that can't sing certain songs. Confidence is the number one quality needed right behind talent and style. You can have the best voice in the world and without confidence you will fail every time. Don't think that you can hide a lack of confidence either because you can't . You will come off depressing and that is not what people are looking for in music. It's one thing to be nervous, but it's a whole different ball game if you don't believe in yourself. You will not move people like music should do. As my mother always said, " It would be nice if everybody loved you, but it's not necessary." Just concentrate on those who do! Joshua is my favorite. I love his voice and even though he sang " America" beautifully, I hated the song choice. I hope the judges put more thought into song choices because It really does make a difference. I think Koryn rocked and Rob really surprised me. See what putting forth effort can do. I think Mia is doing good as well. I like Corey, but again bad song choice. He should've put down the guitar for that one. I know the favorites are Kimberly and Sawyer which is well deserved. I hope all the contestants stop trying to be like someone else and find their own way to shine. Just because you don't win doesn't mean you can't sing. The fact that you made it as far as you did proves that you succeeded.

I hate The House of the Rising Sun, particularly when a female sings "it's been the ruin of many a poor boy, and God, I know I'm one." There are several songs that should be banned from these competition shows (this, At Last, New York State of Mind, etc.) Kimberly did a very fine job of singing this vastly overperformed song - if she can sing that old hackneyed song, why not let her try singing Adele (which mostly cannot be done)?

Corey - he's cute, but he's not manly handsome, and his singing was only worsened by that terrible song choice - Jason Aldean? Come on.

Hannah is kind of a creepy girl when she sings. Rob - enough already, go home.
Sawyer - what happened to his voice on this performance - fortunately, the iTunes studio version has the missing notes and the more normal vocal of his, and it is hanging at #2 right now.
Joshua - man, I love that song, and he did a fine job with America.
Adam - pick better songs for your people, you tank someone or two every year by giving them a song they don't want to sing, and then they do an average or worse job singing it - Deanna looked more freaked out than she has in a couple of weeks.
Megan - I don't like the song much, but she sang Girl Crush really well - she was smart to move towards her country past when Corey isn't going to last much longer.
India - that UCLA opera training is hard to shake, isn't it? Too much effort for accuracy, and not enough heart.
Brian - not going to be staying - and you don't need to ask for a pity party because people said unkind things on social media - why on earth are contestants reading this nonsense during the competition, or counting up their followers.
Koryn - who sounded like she thought Reba was lucky to ever have had a chance to sing with Kelly Clarkson ... someone get these youngsters some music industry knowledge, please, save us all.
    Mia Z - not a fan

Really love Sawyer and Joshua. And contrary to popular opinion, Kimberly's voice grates on my nerves. Sorry.
