For me Nigel Farage did clinch it, alright he does not have the schooled and rehearsed presentation skills, the others have. But he is basic says what most of us are thinking and understand, plain English. Ed comes across as smarmy with his looks to the Camera and trying to be superior.

I believe in the SMP, They delivered everything they said they would, council tax freeze, free prescriptions, help in bedroom tax, got a referendum and they believe in NHS to name a few, although I admit there are things that need addressed from every party. I can't recall any other political party that could claim the same. I had thought about voting for UKIP right up to the point he wanted to scrap the Barnet formular, but I think his immigration proposal is good. We should not be letting anyone in to our country, it should be in line with other countries being based on filling highly qualified jobs that can't be fulfilled from our country. While there are atrocities in the world we can't support our own poverty situations so if they want to come to this country they should not be allowed to claim benefits of any kind for at least 4 years. There are so many ways of cutting down on spending and borrowing starting with politicians, they are doing a job with good pay so why should everyone else pay for their 1st, 2nd and 3rd houses, lunches, travel expencies, Nor should they be able to do alternative work for fees for advice or speaker at events, if they are doing that they are not committing their job as a politician for the people. The likelihood is that no matter which party get the highest votes they will have to form a coalition and look how good that turned out. I respect everyone has their own political views but please think about who you are voting for, don't vote for a party just because you agree with them on one point. Ask your local mp on other parts of their policies make an informed choice and make your voices heard loud and clear.

I for one, don't like being lied to. If I was Scottish I would vote for Jimmy crankie but I'm not I am BRITISH and we should look after all of our people who have contributed to this great country. Go Nigel ! Go ukip !!

I felt it childish and immature not to shake the hand of Nigel Ferage at the end of the debate and wonder would David Cameron behaved like this had he attended, because of this embarrassing behaviour I feel Nigel Ferage won the debate.

Nigel was the only straight one on the podium. The rest live in cuckoo land. Massive promises with no substance---Haven't we been there before and look were it took us.The only regret is he didn't ask for votes. If everyone vote UKIP we get change. Vote Labour we get a mess coupled with massive debt vote conservatives we get pain and debt. The only way forward is the UK out of political Europe, but trading with them as equals.
If the SNP and labour could not agree last night there is no hope for them being in power.
A small national turn out with a strong nationalist turn out and the country could well get a UKIP majority. Don't be sucker punched just like the scot were only a few month ago. Don't listen to any more Westminister lies

I wonder how much of the £1m given to UKIP was spent on skewing this poll because it has no basis in reality 31% thinking Farage won the debate on the BBC is just laughable.

There was only one person making sense about the mess we are in with Brussels and is passionate about sorting the mess out with clear policies, Nigel. And why are thousands of people putting their lives at risk trying to get into England, because we have open boarders and they want a better life from where they live, is that a bad thing, no. However if we are struggling, don’t have the resources to manage the influx of people, are we really going to be able to help them, no. Nigel is right we need to get control of our country and manage it ourselves to ensure anything we decide to do, to help others is agreed by our Government not Brussels where we don’t have a vote. Not enough houses, not enough money to treat ill people, not enough schools, no money but let’s allow 1000’s and 1000’s of people in our country without appropriate vetting, crazy.
