My heart aches for the Richard family but what we need to do is carry out his death sentence ASAP so this family and others can begin to have some peace. The appeals are just a waste of time , he did the crime now please for the sake of all those suffering, carry out the punishment, not to do so is adding to the pain and suffering of so many to have to relive this. He cannot continue to live, he was convicted and must pay for his crimes.

    Dear Richards Family,
I truely feel for the loss of your son and injuries to your daughter. However I can't say that I agree with your your wishes of allowing the defendant to live the rest of his life at the further and continued expense of the american people. The defendant in his own statement said that the American people needed to learn a lesson. Well, I fail to understand what lesson he had in mind other than the lesson from a muslim which says that they need to deceive the infidel which is all od us here in the USA. This country has answered nearly every call for help along the way and some of those groups have even turned their backs on us as in osama bin laden. We have suffered too many deaths at the hands of these people and we need to send that message of we will not continue to take it from them and those that continnue to do this type of harm will be met with the same intentions. This terrorist is a very young terroist and at his age he will cost this country millions of dollars over the years of his encarceration, please put paper and pencil together and add those figures up, guards alone are serious dollars they = guards X their pay x 24/7/365, then there is their food, medical, glasses , appeals, lawyers, judges, jurors, travels to and from his cell, guards during the transportation, fuel, haircuts, he will get an education in there if he so chooses, books, paper, pencils,, pens, clothes, shoes, and anything else that you can think of while he is living in prison AT OUR EXPENSE, AND NOT TO EVER FORGET, THE LOSS OF LIVES LIKE MARTIN AND THOSE THAT WERE INJURED AND THEIR EXPENSES THAT THEY HAVE HAD TO ENDURE.
I DO RESPECT YOUR THOUGHTS AND WISHES BUT I JUST CANNOIT AGREE WITH THEM. I HONESTLY BELIEVE THAT THE LETHAL INJECTION IS FAR TOO FAIR AND HIS SENTENCE SHOULD BE CARRIED OUT ASAP. THIS JURY WAS FAIR, IMPARTIAL AND DID THEIR JOB AND THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO RESEASON TO ALLOW ANY APPEALS AT THIS POINT IN TIME BECAUSE A NEW SET OF RULES NEED TO BE STRUCTURED WHEN AN ACT OF TERROR IS ON THE DOCKET. Different rules need to be applied when terrorist circumstances have been afflicted against us. This message needs to be sent to the defendant

This terrorist should die a death that will send a message to others that think on the same thoughts as this guy did. This terrorist said that the USA needs a message sent to them. WELL THE USA MUST SEND A MESSAGE TO THIS PUNK AND OTHER THAT WANT OT BRING FURTHER HARM TO OUR COUNTRY. AND AS MUCH AS I FEEL BADLY FOR THE LOSS OF THIS YOUNG MAN LIFE, ALLOWING TSERNAEV(sp) TO LIVE IS A TRAVESTY. For this murderer to live the rest of his life at our expense is not how I want my tax dollars spent. The only expense we should have to endure is the cost of the one single bullet right between the eyes and then use his body as fuel in the incinerater. It just ins't fair to allow him to cost us more money than we have already spent on his trial and feeding him from then till now. Let's think about the cost of his encarceration. What does it cost to keep a prisoner in prison for life. A breakdown looks like this, First off it takes guards 24/7/365 at the annual salary of about 50 to 60,000.00 dollars a year, then we have to feed him, clothe him, he gets medical, dental, glasses if needed, appeals, education if he so elects, shoes, haircuts, soap, shampoo, possibly congical visits if some lame girl wants to girl her body up to him, then if he works he gets paid for that, and then whatever other expenses I can't think of right now. Keeping a guy like this alive just isn't worth the expense. Too many people died by his hand and too many people were seriously and permanantly injured because he felt the USA needed to learn a lesson by his message, well IT IS IMPERITIVE TO SEND A MESSAGE TO HIM.

As a parent who lost a son tragically,I understand the Richards' "voice" regarding their loss. It goes way beyond intellectualizing a concept such as whether someone should be put to death. Martins death is a raw and brutal pain to the heart of their family and no matter what the courts decide, they know it will never bring this cherished child back. They are merely saying ENOUGH! They deserve to begin their journey through grief together, in private, away from the politics and well intentioned folks who were outraged and whose call to justice "by hanging" would calm their own fears and anger. I think the Richards know God will be the Ultimate Judge and that their survival does not hinge on this maniacs death but on Gods good grace.Right now is the time to let the family heal, adjust, find hope in this life without Martin.Unless you have lost a child, there is no way to fathom the depth of despair these good folks are feeling. They have been brave and present to us all up to now and have been such quiet examples of faith in God and fellow men. Now is the time not to forget what happened to their son and collectively the city of Boston but to allow some space and quiet reflection on how this tragedy has transformed all of us.

no way should he sustain life ,he acted as an adult, was convicted by a jury, and should not be allowed to live , as all of the others will suffer the rest of their life.
