Is $62 too much for a single ticket to Cedar Point?

I'm planning a trip this October and just realized how high the fast passes are. Really? They are raising the regular admission that much, AND at the same time raising fast pass prices? Did the owner just buy a football team or something? Rip off.

When you look at the length of the lines, cost of food and beverages, and travel costs this is way to high. Growing up Cedar Point was a great place to go for us kids usually several times during the summer, we would load up in two cars and go. With these costs we would never be able to do this, the park has raised the prices so much that our kids cannot enjoy the park like we did.

Waaaaay too expensive. I'm in high school and I don't have enough money to pay for a day at Cedar Point. My parents won't pay it either, so I guess they just lost my business all together. Their loss.

This is really unreasonable! We took our family of 6 there for 2 days in the 90's but we'd never be able to do that now.

nice place to visit. But at that price won't be able to take the family.along with parking and the price of food be around 800.00 to get in

My son loves cedar point but when I bring him I'm unable to ride anything but I still have to pay the regular admission price.

not even worth it , especially for as long as you stand in line for ONE ride

A 1% increase (from 3% to 4%) would raise the pice approximately .60 cents (based on a $60 ticket)--not $2.50 that someone put. There would already be a tax of approximately $1.80 (based on a $60 ticket). Now if the ticket price increased $2.50, then that is a different story and you increase the tax 1% on the $2.50 ticket cost increase, then that 1% tax increase would equal approximately .03 cents (since you can't charge someone .02 1/2 cents. So....sounds like to me Cedar Point increased their ticket price $2.50 and increased the tax 1% on the total ticket price. Make sense?
