A Hall of Fame gold jacket is the greatest accomplishment by an individual. Super Bowls are team accomplishments! Pretty simple..........

There are many players out there with Super Bowl rings that you never heard of. Bums that just happened to be on 1 good team 1 year. Hall of Fame requires an entire career of greatness. The more rare usually the more valuable. Count the number of Super Bowl Rings to the number of people in the HOF. Simple math shows being a member of the Hall of Fame is more important.

Dude is a liar! Didn't Elway say the same thing? Until he win his first in '98? Then Elway said his career would not have been complete. If Marino had won that 20th day in January of 1985, his opinion would be A LOT different.

A punter could play one year and luck into a SuperBowl win. To quote Chad Johnson, "Child, please." H.O.F. all the way.

I will bet the ring gets worn more than the gold jacket. Personally I don't remember seeing anyone in a gold jacket.

When he retired, you realized Marino was the kind of player that you actually felt privileged to have seen him play. It's like seeing Jim Brown run, or Butkus annihilate someone.

SB equals one year's accomplishment by an entire team. The H of F represents individual accomplishments over an entire career. Easy choice.
