I actually agree with all of your assessments. I was just thinking about this stuff today and the fact is if you look at all the teams left in the playoffs, really only Anaheim has stood out as being dominant. Detroit I believe is on par currently with the rest of the league. There is so much parity right now, it really comes down to goaltending and doing the little things in the playoffs. Wings looked bad in the first two games against Tampa and then I felt carried the play most of the rest of the series and Tampa might knock off Montreal and could beat the Rangers too. So, a full season of Pete being the number one goalie and I think the Wings will be right there next season.
