I have been bringing my family spring and fall since 1996 and the only reason I continue is because it is a night race. And we travel 200 miles to this event. Since the Sawyer's sold the track each year I find it harder to return due to what seems like the constant messing with parking/tailgating experience; it's becoming more like work than fun. We used to purchase 40 tickets between family and friends and now we struggle and have to beg to get 12 of the original crew to attend. We have discussed the pending move to Sunday; and it's going to be the deal breaker for us; as they say on Shark Tank "For that reason I'm out!". To take a race/track where only a few years ago had a waiting list to purchase tickets; to removing seating capacity should throw up red flags even a blind person could see; but not these clowns. I guess are only hope is if Donald Trump takes over and says "Your Fired!"

Well this is it if they would change to race on a sunday for the spring race I may have to make other plans. I've been going to Richmond since 1987, and you guys messed up the backstretch for parking and enjoyment for the fans that had seats in the backstretch grandstands. Thats part of the reason why you lost those fans if you want to know my opinion. Had to tear down tower seats in backstretch not good. Well hear this now Richmond is screwing the hell out of parking for the fans in the front stretch $50.00 for parking screw it.. I'm out all together if this shit keeps up,you guys don't see it GOING BAD but I do

Have been going to RIR since they actually ran the races on sun....(before the lights)..I (& 90% of people Ive talked to that attend every year), think it would be a HUGE mistake..for many reasons...the main one being that running on sat. night gives you the buffer in case of wearher,..as it is now,.most of the people travel home on sun...We camp with people from Penn,W Va,Ohio,Maryland,N.C., & elsewhere that heave
ALL said that they wouldnt be there if they had to leave sun.afternoon..Its one thing when rain postpones till sun,..theyre already there, but they definetly wouldnt travel from afar for sunday, when almost every person there has to work mon...The attendance (& tv ratings) would be non-existant on mon.at 11:00 am when they ran the race(been there,.seen it)..People now have the choice to stay till sun.,or leave sat night if the race gets postponed,,,if you run it sun. & theres rain..most will have no choice but to get home for work on mon...Not to mention the fact that everyone loves the night racing there,.A sun.race there would take away from the whole experience...as it stands now, people look forward to the race "weekend"..most getting there thurs. or fri...its a destination,..event,...thats looked forward to all year.Ive been going since they had 4 races during the week(wed.-IROC,..thurs.-TRUCKS,..fri.-busch,..sat- cup) & Ive seen attendance slump because of many factors.I love RIR & have for many years,,I dont want to see rir lose one of its races, but something like this is gonna be bad for the track if they decide to do it..Ive been one of the few hundred people that have been there on mon. to see a race..I think they would lose many, many regular, loyal fans that would be there..

If this race is moved to Sunday I will no longer attend. I attend this race because it is in the evening. I have been going to both spring and fall races for the last 10 years. I do stay in the area until Sunday after the race. I enjoy seeing the night races much more than the Sunday races.
