I guess the city thinks everyone who works downtown lives west of the core. As 4th & 6th Ave. are already dedicated to westbound traffic how does it make sense to use 5th Ave. lanes for that as well ? The existing infrastructure can only handle so much traffic in that direction & this will only create chaos for eastbound commuters. Another expensive pilot project from the all knowing brains at silly hall. By creating traffic gridlock their real goal is to frustrate motorists to the point that they leave their vehicles at home & ride a bike to work. Can't wait for the next election so Spendshi, Ferret. Pinhead & crew can be shown the door like Jim Pricetag.
