The long-planned Light Rail Red Line continues to cause much debate. A newly planned submit hopes to get more backers on board. Are you for it?

We need a robust subway system. If Baltimore wants to be a big city and furthermore bring more people in, it needs to invest in the Red Line. Some of the comments made here thus far are not constructive, and only shows their small minds and, quite frankly, ignorance and their inability to have an intelligent discussion.

Fix what you have that's falling apart first - like the Hanover Street bridge among others - before spending billions on that red line. If it's going to be a train like the light rail its a waste of money - that thing is so slow and shouldn't run on the ground esp in the City - it should've been elevated. It shouldn't be interfered by traffic or interfere with traffic. Need more common sense solutions.

The DC metro is well used and makes a substantial part of it's cost back in fares. The Balt light rail is nothing but a poorly designed thug mover and is not worth putting any money into it. Expand the metro in the DC burbs- that works!

Yeah, shuffle that scum around at the fastest speeds possible. This towns circling the toilet bowl as it is, must transport the scum to wherever they want to go so they dont get dizzy from the toilet bowl swirl.

Like we need for more "free" past riders with a east to west connection to move the bad element around the City. How about what has happened to Owings Mills and Hunt Valley with those two routes bringing the "free" pass riders into those communities.
