No to the budget! Don't vote, don't complain!
I do plan to vote on the budget. Unfortunately, whether or not the budget is passed is dampened by the fact that if you do not pass the budget, the contingency budget is put in place which usually is as bad or worse than the budget you are voting on. We need a revamp of our education system, Common core, teacher evaluations, tenure, teacher retirement and associated benefits, etc. Teachers work very hard in a system that appears broken.

If you don't vote on the budget, don't complain about position cuts, program cuts, or anything budget related. Stay off social media with your non voting opinions because local elections are really where your votes count.
