I would get one tommorow if they made it a blue RS to match my 67 then I wouldn't have to drive a boring pickup anymore I live on Long Island and we get tons of snow

The minute they become available there will be one in my garage! Anyone that live in the upper 36 states GET SNOW AND ICE FOR 6 months a year- hello what about people like me that make good money but not crazy money to have 2 cars - one for winter one for summer - simple!! For those purists - um ya still got the mullet and silk shirt to go with those Cut off Levi's? AWD WOULD BE A ROCKET SHIP IN RAILS - if u would be against it you must still have a rotary phone and have a roll of quarters and spend half the day looking for a pay phone when u get a page. AWD cars out perform 2wd cars in handling period - I know ya love to throw em into the corners as I did with my Vette and my SS - but seriously a AWD optional system (on or off like traction control) would just kick ass - u would SMOKE ANYONE THROUGH THE CORNERS!!

I live in Alberta, AWD is a must have. Camaro is my dream car but just not sensible for the Alberta snow. I don't want to drive my car for just 6 months per year!

I'd actually have a reason to buy one if you made it AWD. Would not be practical to own RWD where I am in New England. If it came as an option on a model, I'd actually have some ground to stand on in a practicality argument with the wife! Yes! PLEASE make an AWD model to add to the 2016 lineup! Obviously, keep models w/ RWD....after all, it is a Camaro.

i'm all for it. all wheel drive on a Camaro is what I've been waiting on up here in the north. performance and hanlding makes a well mix on the snow. with a four wheels in your hands, it can make a difference from a crash and avoiding an accident, and a hefty insurance cost.

If the Camaro comes with AWD I will buy it hands down. American brands just don't make stylish AWD coupes. There is a lot of market potential.

The camaro died in 2002. The new camaro is nice it's powerful and probably a blast to drive. They are no longer true muscle cars, they are more complicated, very large, heavy and too refined. All wheel drive would be an interesting thing to have on it, it already has been given a 4 cylinder engine all wheel drive would just add to it. I know I would look at it, could be a fun car. But I'll continue with my 4th gen camaro built on the f-body chassis until the new car with the camaro name is turned into a rally contender (it would probably dominate in rally)

as long as they keep the 200 pounds off, other all wheel drive sports cars have done well. I know that's taboo for the Camaro but its the new age and we can have both, I think.

GM should, under no circumstances, make the Camaro an AWD vehicle. The moment they do, is the moment it no longer is a Camaro. GM, if you want to do that, then create a different model with AWD. Do not ruin a namesake vehicle by "bastardizing" is with things like AWD, 4 doors, etc. If you do this, you will lose a lot of respect and sales from a lot of people. ONE SIZE DOES NOT FIT ALL. I own a Camaro because I like it's styling, performance, AND type of vehicle it is (RWD, Coupe, etc.). Don't try to make it something it's not. Target a certain market aggressively, not the entire market half-heartedly. That's why you sell other vehicles.
