If the councillor thinks that 16 year olds are mature and knowledgeable enough to vote, then maybe he thinks they're old and wise enough to drink. Maybe the councillor could bring a motion forward to reduce the age to consume alcohol to 16 since they're mature enough to drive. Ask the 16 year olds and I'm sure that they'd vote in favor of it.
only property owners shud be allowed to vote. seems immaturity at council level breeds immature thinking.
