My first ever camera was a little plastic job that took 828 film, and cost 10/6 (circa 1950). I've no idea what became of it - it probably broke. The Brownie 127 was my second camera. I've no idea what happened to that, either: it was well over 50 years ago (it's more than 50 years since I got my first ever SLR, an Asahi Pentax S2. That was traded in long ago)

Ah, my Brownie 127 which my parents bought me for my 10th birthday. Still have it but the spec just isn't up to my present requirements. And you just can't get the film for it these days.
