Per: I don't doubt that Thorolf will make the cut next time, but unfortunately Vatnsdaela saga was after the cutoff for the first quarter court (we were a little late getting this recorded, since Andy and John spent a little too much time in convivial fellowship (i.e., drinking) at Kalamazoo instead of getting this done last month).
Ryan: I think Thorgrima was hurt by the strong overall list of candidates, but also by her "co-winner" status with her husband Thorir Wood-Leg. But the more I think about it, I think you may well be right--Thorgrima got robbed! And there's nothing worse than having woman named Witch-Face mad at you, so I'm going to blame this on Andy...
I worry that my vote was heavily influenced by Andy's juvenile yet erudite wordplay in promoting his candidate. Also, I think Thorolf Killhammer (my suggested translation) should have been on this list.
I can't believe Thorgrima Witch-Face didn't make the cut!
