Danica is a good driver who ever has negative comment well why don't you try driving those cars.

I hope someday she reaches her full potential and becomes eligible for the Hall of Fame! A pioneer I agree with, not yet a Hall of Famer.

With all due respect she isn't a pioneer, though to be honest there are still many people who won't respect her because she's a woman.

She preformed respectably as any IndyCar driver but she's been fairly middling on the NASCAR circuit. Good enough to be a pro but never good enough to truly be competitive.

As for the ads it would have been stupid not to do them. How many people would honestly say no to that amount of money? Men just don't have to objectify themselves the way woman do in advertising -- yet.

You've got to be kidding me. Political Correctness hits NASCAR. We have to have a female in the HOF or they are sexist. This is crazy!

Danica Patrick has maintained staying power for one reason and one reason only, advertising support. If she weren't able to attract the money she wouldn't have a ride.

This is a joke, right? While it's true that she has staying power, the only reason she has staying power is because she is an attractive woman that took her clothes off (almost) for those stupid Go Daddy commercials. The only reason she is with SHR is because of attention she attracts. But the tide is turning. She is no longer a 23 year old ingenue of racing. Go Daddy is changing their image and has already dumped Patrick after this season. Without major sponsorship she may be looking for another team come next season since her contract is up with SHR after this season. I'm sure she can find another team, but maybe one without as good equipment as SHR. The bottom line is this; yes, she is pioneer that has opened the door for other women drivers. Hall of Famer? I don't think so. Let's put it this way, in 3 racing series, indy car, nationwide/xfinity and Sprint cup, she has only one win. That's only one more win than I have and I don't race!

She is not just anyone. She has made outstanding accomplishments and will continue to do so. She has proven she can play with the "big dogs". I am so sick of people saying she hasn't done anything. Take a look back at the great ones and you will see it took them YEARS AND YEARS to reach their full protentional. She is just getting started !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

then anyone who ever sat in a NASCAR car should be eligible. I thought outstanding accomplishments were necessary for Hall of Fame consideration.
