I would like too see the jeffersons pulled , becuze im ofended by how much he sais honkey in this show , also sanford and son he does not like mexicans or whites .. this could go on and on when does it stop, put it back on the air and stop being afraid of being sued or in trouble .

This is stupid! Why are people letting everyone who thinks everything is racist tell us what to do? The dukes of hazzard was in no way racist at all it was a very good show. The confederate flag doesn't represent racism or whatever they think it is a piece of American history! Something should be done to talk some sense into people.

Bad decision, TVLAND. I am an African-American who grew up watching Dukes of Hazzard. I made sure not to miss an episode. Granted the show may not of had a lot of Black characters, but I never once had the feeling of racism from this show. I do not believe that the flag needs to fly over governmental buildings since it is not the symbol of our United States. I have no problems with it being flown or worn anywhere else since it is a part of this country's history. I, for one like the look of the flag. Bring back the Duke Boys.
This is so stupid and has gotten so out of hand over a bunch of hyperventilating politicians and people who never gave the Civil War Flag a second thought until the deaths in Charlestonl. If we placed as much thought in to acting like human beings towards one another and stopped looking at one's skin color as we did that flag then things would be much better. It is just a piece of cloth. Did anyone know that William Ellison, a black land owner in Sumter County, SC owned 64 slaves at one time and that he and his family supported the Confederacy? He even sold his daughter into slavery and bought her back. I think that everybody needs to learn more about the history of the Civil War before they start pointing fingers at a Flag. Until then I will not be watching even television that portrays the South in negative ways, nor the North in positive ways. Which means I will not be watching 'Roots' again. I know how blacks were brought to America from Africa, and how they were sold into slavery. By their own people. It is not easy to believe the truth sometimes. People there are bigger fish to fry at this time, and we are making it easier for them to get at us by us remaining divided. The General Lee is not hurting anyone. Just as it is obvious that the Federal Government is not hurting by not having Al Sharpton pay his taxes. Get a life and boycott TV.
TV Land will be no longer be watched in my house. My 8 and 5 year old were just starting to really watch AND record every Dukes episode. This channel will be blocked from my TV. This one decision TV Land has made shows the absolute demise of this great country.
I am opposed the the Confederate Flag being flown on public/government property as I believe it is not representative of all of the citizens of our nation or the city/state in which it has been flown. I am, however, in favor of individuals rights to display the flag on their person and their property if that is their desire. Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and all that. I am also opposed to censorship like this. Pulling the reruns of the Duke's of Hazards television show is censorship and the height of ridiculousness.
No more TVLand for me. It was a fun show, never showed any type of racism, but just because the General Lee has a Confederate flag on it their going to pull it? Ridiculous. I'm a pretty open minded person and liberal on many issues but all of this political correctness has got to stop!

TVLand pulls a quality show like the Dukes of Hazard,that showed no racism in any episodes.The show showed good family values.They can however promote a new show IMPASTOR that is a disgrace to any God fearing Christian.They clearly have no Christian values anymore.I am locking them out of my tv set for good.I pray many more Christians stand up & do the same.

It is time to pull the plug on cable TV and go to another form of watching shows. The price is far too high and the content continues to get worse. You will take the Dukes of Hazzard off TV but you will continue to keep all kinds of shows in prime time that involve murder and guns and sex. OOOOh the flag is bad must remove it but who cares what my kids see on prime time involving sex, violence and guns. Same goes for NBC, CBS, and ABC.

I will not be politically correct and I never will be. What happened in Charleston,South Carolina. was tragic but to cower or knuckle under is ridiculous. Pulling the Dukes of Hazzard is lowdown the confederate flag is what my ancestor fought under during the War between the States. The flag is southern heritage read your history books.It was never used to keep blacks in suppression.Our ancestors that fought for the Cause fought for southern independence, my ancestor was too poor to even own a slave,if you believe differently than you are sadly mistaken,the vast majority of other southerners never owned slaves.I grew up on the Dukes of Hazzard it was a family show that had nothing to do with the flag.

However, the TVL decision to cut it shows complete duplicity in the corruption of ideas in this country today.
