Well I see the writing on the wall again if she wins. The man she was and may still be dating, will be getting plenty of work from the city. He will never have to submit a bid for the job, like all the other contractors have to. And he will stick it to the city by over charging for every job that he will get. X-mas will be good at the Dixon resident again!!! This time when they catch her stealing gift cards or getting kick backs from her man, she should have to serve a real sentence in prison and loose her retirement that good old Owe'Malley helped her keep. We never heard of a total on the gift cards, but we do know it was 10's of thousands. She got 3 years probation, then everything was expunged from her record, and now she can run for office again. If she wins the race for mayor, it will really show that the education system is really broke in Baltimore, or everyone is just doing drugs. Oh wait, I forgot that most people on public assistance is on drugs, that's why the dumbocrates would not pass that law to make anyone on any type of public assistance would have to take a drug test weekly and have to work for the city or state for 8 hours a week to collect their checks. And if you failed to do either you would loose your money for each week that you failed, and after so many strikes you would loose your public assistance all together. I hope a republican like Dr. Ben Carson would run for mayor instead of president. All the people who think they are owed public assistance would be in for a rude awakening!!!!

COUNT ME IN SHEILA....YOU GOT MY VOTE...I AGREE SHE HAS PAID FOR ANY WRONG DOINS AND QUITE FRANKLY IM CERTAIN OTHERS HAVE DONE FAR WORST...TO ME IT SEEM AS THOUGH THIS WAS A WITCH HUNT TO START..I LIVE IN BALTIMORE AND THAT IS THE PAST..WHAT I NEED NOW IS SOMEONE WHOS NOT AFRAID TO PUT THIS CITY IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION...I DONT THINK I. GETTING ANY OF THAT WITN THE CURRENT LEADERSHIP...WHE. At first I was very upset with former Mayor Dixon and I also thought she was very arrogant for not directly apologizing to the citizens of Baltimore for her bad decision regarding the gift cards. Fast forward 7 years later and I am absolutely happy to hear she is going to run for Mayor. I'm mostly happy because the machine did not support her when her ship was sinking and now that she has up-righted her ship she don't owe those in the machine anything. She has paid her debt and atoned for her bad decisions, now it's time for someone who knows and loves the city to get it back on track. For me it's not a matter of liking or disliking her personality it's about my belief that she is fully qualified and has the ability to start turning our city around for the good. It's time out for voting for best personality or prettiest smile. There is some serious work to be done, and the current Mayor has had something that no other mayor has ever had "A 5 year term" Times up! Where do I get my Sheila Dixon for Baltimore Mayor T-Shirt and a bag full of literature so I can start wearing out some shoe soles!

Compared to what we have now, she's the lesser of the two evils. All politicians are crooks. Some of them get caught. According to court records Sheila Dixon's crimes were not criminal.

And wouldn't have passed out a few gift cards to their family members? Hell, I know I would've. We all make mistakes and we all fall. Who are we to judge.
