I'm usually interested in reading the studies you review, but this time it was particularly relevant as being diabetic, if I need to sweeten a food, then it must be by using artificial sweetener. I have wondered what the effects of it would be on weight, as some natural sciences pupport that excessive use will cause weight gain, i.e. people people becoming addicted to diet soft drinks such as Pepsi Max and consuming over a bottle a day. I think a review the evils of soft drink, both those of regular and diet would be very interesting by the way. Good review Captain, and definately 'food for thought'. Sorry, I couldn't resist.
