Is it meant to get votes? Absolutely it is. Can the families it's going to use the money ? Of course they can & will. I am a fifty year old single male & I have no problem with this at all. I have no idea how most people manage to raise kids with the high cost of everything these days. As far as trying to get your vote what do you think Toms national day care program or Justin Times latest brain wave are designed to do ? Every politician tries to buy your vote by promising things we as a nation & a province can simply not afford. If it going to families to help defray the cost of living it is better spent than on some Left Wing Program where most of the money is eaten up by the Bureaucrats that run it. There are a lot of things I don't like about the current government but frankly they are still a better choice to run the economy than Angry Toms Communist Lite Party or Justin Time & his merry band of ex Green Peace activists & other assorted nuts. ( Justin is truly the stupidest person to ever run for Prime Minister in our history. Once separated from his script or Teleprompter he can't string 2 logical sentences together. )
