@ryan , Juan , you guys are absolutely right ! just look at the public parks , schools and especially our hospital , GMH is on the verge of collapsing , our schools are deteriorated to the point they need to be rebuilt , our public parks are filthy and the erosion taking place on many of our beaches have yet to be addressed . They can't even maintain Gov Guam vehicles ! There is no such thing as repair , just purchase a new one . They hire unqualified mechanics , they lack the updated training needed on newer vehicles . But they are professionals at giving themselves a pay raise and undeserved retro , how many senators do we need for our tiny island ? How many mayors does Guam really need ?
what's our population ? Millions ? No! A little over 200 thousand and we need so many to GG staff , enough to be able to compare with the U.S mainland . They "mainlander's and military" are always asking me why we need so many mayors and senators for our population and they laugh . I tell them because we're idiots . They call us "Chamoron's" and easily manipulated by money . I sadly agree with them .

Govguam sucks at facilities and equipment maintenance. With 90 cents of every tax dollar going to salaries and benefits, theire is hardly anything for maintenance. Big fat NO!

There's a reason why it went into receivership. I really don't think gov guam will successfully take anything else on if they maintain the same attitude they've always had in day to day operations. Their "culture" if you will. Until we see serious changes in management structure , and less politics in everything , solid waste is just going to slide right back into its old ways. Let's privatize everything , and sit back and watch as companies start competing for our trust.
