Honestly I think DANNY should be with Riley. Danny loved Riley since they were kids. Danny loved Riley even when she wasn't as attractive. Another reason why he should be with her is because, even when Riley needed advice with boys (keep in mind Danny loves Riley) he still was helping her get through it all.

BEN AND RHILEY ALL THE WAY!! Danny never fought for her he let her be with Ben even though he supposedly loves her. He dated other girls dyer he admitted he loved her an said he loved the girls he dated too. R had a crush on her as kid and seeing her agai made it resurface because he wasn't in a relationship, he was her friend and got his feelings confused, and now she was pretty. Ben never felt the same way about anyone and he fought for her having the best intentions in the world even though some thongs went wrong. Bow tht he's older more mature and ready for real relationships he has loves her. Jut because he didn't love her when he was a kid doesn't matter he does now and some people are late bloomers. Rachel never loved Ross as a kid but he loved her. Meredith and Derek from greys anatomy didn't live each other as kids. All good relationships have struggles to work through and Ben and Danny have none. Although I'm a Everthorne fan peeta loved Katniss as a kid but katniss didn't. There relationship grew stronger because she wasn't thieves into loving peeta, bit she did it just took time but she knee in her heart that she did. Rhiley loved Ben when she came back into his life in season one as she did when she was a kid and she stuck by him. Hey have great history, chemistry connections love experiences personalities that fit perfectly together. His witt mad her personality are like p b and j. Seeing rhileys with Danny makes me sad because rioters ruined a great show tha i loved and a perfect couple. You should have stuck with our gut when you bought rhiley and Ben were good together because I waited for it through 5 seasons and she ended up with Sammy who just sat aroun until the easy chance came for him to pop tr question when he never put any effort into there relationship and never expressed how he felt. The best way for me to put this is an analogy to friends. In my opinion you basically changed it from Ross and Rachel to Rachel and Joey. It killed it yea Danny is awesome but he's doesn't play an intelligent person (Riley is a lawyer and I don't see a lawyer marrying someone who is so idiotic) and Danny plays the great side Charente but in the recent seasons I feel this show has fallen way off it started off with Ben and Emma being the main focus and Danny, Riley, and Tucker as side characters who are great in the show but they weren't the focus then Riley infatuation about Ben came into play which made her a main character in my opinion but the farther thru the series Emma starts having less to do with it, the show started focusing on Ben and his interactions with Riley and then you blew that up by changing it too two side charecters in the beginning becoming the stars (I feel like the show name should now be "baby daddy's big brother" unless the writers manage to do a much better job this season with bringing it back to the beginning story basis. I will be watching the fifth season with hope that they manage to save what I feel like they wrecked but my expectations are extremely low right now. And I am not sure if I will even make it thru the fifth season with the writers making up any story just to keep it going which makes me very sad cause this show aired the month my son was born and my "baby mama" and I were separated so I connected with the show but where it has gone is heartbreaking for me and I don't think they can make it work to put my heart back together. I definitely score season 4s finale as a F and plan to buy the first 3 seasons and skip buying the rest so when I get old I'll only remember the good times and not when they shattered the show just to make a more ridiculous plot line. Cause no matter what Ben and Riley are done there is not saving that love story now and i don't see Danny and Riley plot line working out so team Ben have him move to some smaller town to get away from everyone and start over building the story with new people and have it focus on Ben and Emma primarily. Rant over so discouraged with the talent of writers in modern times. The writers of friends and HIMYM the office and all shows similar I believe if they watch baby daddy are sitting there in amazement at how much the makers of this show just killed what could have been a wonderful love story just for shock effect. My vote put Riley and Danny in a spin off away from everything cause in this show it doesn't work and it can't be okay. Rant over again. Go team Ben and Emma in the search for an actual good mother. Good luck on your rocky chance of making it to season 6.

I also have a best friend who is madly in love with me and has been since we were still younger, but I look at him more like family or a brother and he knows that too. It's not on purpose, but I can't force myself to fall in love with someone. It has to be on it's own. Plus I don't want to ruin the only friendship I have cause some relationships don't work out, and sometimes it can ruin the friendship because of the hurt etc. I feel like they're forcing Danny/Riley. What would happen if their relationship didn't work out? It would be messed up to see their friendship ruined, they need to slow down a bit. Like let Riley fall in love with Danny in baby steps cause rushing to engagement isn't wise. Ted did that and he got left at the alter, Robin didn't want him rushing her, etc. Friendship is an important factor.

Just for concern, I'm only comparing the shows relationship wise. HIMYM relationships we're more realistic. Even Lilly and Marshall fucking had so many verbal arguments and look at them. Perfect couple and everything. And they're relationship got super strong after their break up and getting back together. Ted had a nice wife and it was sad she got ill and passed but shit in life happens, plus he still loves her cause she had his kids and they got married, but sometimes life isn't always what we expect, and in the end, he got his wish to be with Robin, it just took a lot of patience and waiting. I do understand Danny loved Riley since they were kids, but he still would have gotten her in the end. The show isn't fun if you put the best first instead of last cause then it makes it harder to come up with an even better ending.

I think Angela kinda ripped Ben's Relationship with Riley to pieces. I get she's his Ex, but she also abandoned her baby, then right as Ben is starting to mature and gets with Riley, she comes back suddenly and expects Ben to just suddenly forgive her, and even when he tells her several times he's with Riley, she still forces herself on him, she abandons Emma again just to go get laid at a fucking hotel when he wrote a huge fucking R on the bed in rose petals, which she can clearly see, yet still tries forcing herself on him, she kisses him when he didn't want to be kissed and told her not to touch him, and he tries to avoid Angela by trying to talk to Tucker, then later Danny, but Tucker and Riley call him to the house, meaning Danny can't avoid her. I mean who wants to tell or hurt the feelings of the Mother of their kid in all honesty, but Danny needed to get rid of her, cause you never use a child as an excuse to sleep or be with someone. She also keeps trying to get rid of Riley, and knows that she's hurting other people to get what she wants, which is just cruel and mean. I would never force my ex back with me weather I had his kid or not, and wouldn't use my kid as an excuse to sleep or be with someone. If I was left with a kid, I would be like, hey I can't force you to stay, but if you don't, then I don't wanna ever see you again or hear you complain that you miss me so much etc. If I saw my ex happy with another girl, or trying to jumpstart his relationship or trying to work on a new relationship, I wouldn't mess that happiness up for him. Ben was also hurt when he thought Riley slept with Filch to get over him, even though at the last minute she decided not too, she was still talking to the guy, which I can understand why Ben would have a rebound moment due to confusion and hurt. Relationships aren't perfect. My sister screams at her boyfriend sometimes, but they are till together no matter how many times they've fought and yes they are very much in love. They did break up once, but only because she was confused about her ex, but when her ex finally said he didn't know if he saw a future with her or not, that's how she knew she wanted to be with the guy she is with now, and he even lives with us now so they're already like a small family without the baby which will come in years to come hopefully, but they definitely know they want to be together. Angela reminds me of my sister's ex unfortunately, and to top it off, Angela left for LA anyway after ruining an already good relationship that the show had. I like Danny, but no relationship is gonna be perfect, roses, sugar, and rainbows. I couldn't picture Danny or Riley fighting over anything etc and if they did fight verbally sometimes to prove relationships aren't perfect, it would ruin Danny's character. When my sister gets mad at her boyfriend, she doesn't stay mad, and their arguments always strengthen their love cause even in the most difficult times, they still love each other, and her boyfriend doesn't hold the fact she got confused for a moment against her. Instead they use that so nobody can rip them apart ever again. I feel like nobody gave Ben a chance. I feel like he could have fought for her, and her fight for him, but I guess it's too late. It's not realistic if a couple never fights unless you're either lucky, or don't really love someone cause we're only human, we make mistakes etc, try to fix them and what not.... I feel bad for Ben though cause their relationship ended way too quickly. I mean in How I Met Your Mother, Robin got at least three years to be with Barney before deciding it didn't work out, but they both agreed that just because it didn't work, didn't mean their marriage failed. I feel like if Riley didn't want to be with Ben after a few months or a year or two, I would understand, but pairing Riley up with Danny is too soon. If they're gonna end up together, save the best for last. That's what made HIMYM great.

I'm 100% Team DANNY, he's loved her from the start. I think Riley might have had a crush on Ben, BUT Riley and Danny were made for each other. Danny's love has always been so pure and true, and he's ALWAYS been there for her. Again TEAM DANNY!!!!! So happy they are together!!!

I've been watching this show since it first aired, and I've watched Danny fawn over Riley in every aspect, and the love they have is of the truest form. Riley may've had a crush on Ben when she was younger, and who doesn't want to be with their first love? To the Ben supporters- why should Riley get to be "destined" for Ben; when in reality- Ben is shallow and never realized what he had until it didn't benefit him anymore. Danny has always loved Riley, and he deserves to be with his first love. I truly hope that Riley realizes what she has.. Because in reality- Danny has always benefitted her :)

Danny's character exhibited the truest form of love...letting go. He scarificed his own heart and feelings to allow Riley to explore hers. There is no greater love then that....Danny loves her in the purest form....Riley's character will attain what most of us girls only dream of...true love. Kudos to the writers.

His love for her is not shallow. He's loved her from the moment he saw her, whereas Ben
didn't even glance at her that way until she was grown up, thin, and throwing herself at him.

I am so happy that Riley and Danny are together. What better person to fall in love with other than your best friend who has always been there for you. Danny loved you and saw something in Riley even when she didn't see it in herself. Ben picked on her because of her weight which is why I was confused why she loved him. Danny always had her back. In real life a person would end up falling in love with the person that's always there for them. I'm so ready for the new season. Team Danny all the way!

I'm team Ben, I feel that he's growing to a more mature and responsible now that he's taking care of his child. No one is perfect but the love chemistry and good intentions have to be there and I feel Riley had a more connection with Ben.

I agree with several of the people that there are some intelligence barriers ... HOWEVER ... Riley and Danny have been best friends all their lives. He knows her better than anyone and tries to know her. Ben is still a bit self-concerned and immature to really and truly love Riley the way she deserves and would be receptive to. Her expectations for Ben were higher than he could really meet and thus, she was let down several times. Danny almost always meets her expectations and does everything he possibly can do in order to make her happy. She is a romantic - which makes things easy for Danny because he has a deep need to make her happy and knows exactly how to do so. Ben is romantic with her when it's convenient for him, he's making up for something, or he wants something. Danny has a "just because I love you" type of love for Riley. I have been waiting 4 seasons for this also and glad it's here. I'm very much looking forward to Season 5 and what it may hold.

I'm team Ben! It's disappointing that Riley will end up with Danny. Her character is a lawyer, that takes intelligence to accomplish. I want Ben with Riley. To me, it never made since that Riley got with Ben then quickly called it off because she found out that her best friend liked her. I think Danny and Riley should of continued to be best friends you can't get back that relationship once you take it to the next level. Danny has been dating throughout the series knowing that he liked Riley. Since Ben hasn't been with Riley, he hasn't been dating anyone. Ben loves Riley and I believe will have a hard time getting over her. Still hoping for a rewrite and they will make Danny and Riley friends. Think of Joey and Rachel in Friends. They couldn't get pass their friendship to date. If their friendship is as strong as they say it is, they should stay friends and not date.

Danny's character exhibited the truest form of love...letting go. He scarificed his own heart and feelings to allow Riley to explore hers. There is no greater love then that....Danny loves her in the purest form....Riley's character will attain what most of us girls only dream of...true love. Kudos to the writers.

His love for her is not shallow. He's loved her from the moment he saw her, whereas Ben
didn't even glance at her that way until she was grown up, thin, and throwing herself at him.
He's simply not worthy of her. He can find happiness in dozens of others. Danny would have
always searched without her. Danny always knows exactly what Riley needs, and how to give it to her.
I can't wait to see them together!

I am so happy that Riley and Danny are together. What better person to fall in love with other than your best friend who has always been there for you. Danny loved you and saw something in Riley even when she didn't see it in herself. Ben picked on her because of her weight which is why I was confused why she loved him. Danny always had her back. In real life a person would end up falling in love with the person that's always there for them. I'm so ready for the new season. Team Danny all the way!

I'm team Ben, I feel that he's growing to a more mature and responsible now that he's taking care of his child. No one is perfect but the love chemistry and good intentions have to be there and I feel Riley had a more connection with Ben.
I agree with several of the people that there are some intelligence barriers ... HOWEVER ... Riley and Danny have been best friends all their lives. He knows her better than anyone and tries to know her. Ben is still a bit self-concerned and immature to really and truly love Riley the way she deserves and would be receptive to. Her expectations for Ben were higher than he could really meet and thus, she was let down several times. Danny almost always meets her expectations and does everything he possibly can do in order to make her happy. She is a romantic - which makes things easy for Danny because he has a deep need to make her happy and knows exactly how to do so. Ben is romantic with her when it's convenient for him, he's making up for something, or he wants something. Danny has a "just because I love you" type of love for Riley. I have been waiting 4 seasons for this also and glad it's here. I'm very much looking forward to Season 5 and what it may hold.
I am more than excited that Danny and Riley finally got together I've waited all 4 seasons for this moment and we finally got it!!!!! I can't wait for season 5 im defiantly going to watch it, but I do hope that Ben finds someone so he won't be alone.
I'm team Ben! It's disappointing that Riley will end up with Danny. Her character is a lawyer, that takes intelligence to accomplish. Yes she has her blonde moments but they make Danny's character unrealistically brainless. Ben is quick witted & can keep up with her. Danny can't keep up with his own thoughts

I really wanted it to end with Ben and Riley.. I agree that Riley and Danny should just stay friends. I really don't want to watch season 5 just because Riley and Ben didn't end up together, but either way I love the show so i am still going to watch.

I was so happy that it was danny and riley but was kinda shocked when he proposed at the end of the episode. I didn't see that coming
I want Ben with Riley. To me, it never made since that Riley got with Ben then quickly called it off because she found out that her best friend liked her. I think Danny and Riley should of continued to be best friends you can't get back that relationship once you take it to the next level. Danny has been dating throughout the series knowing that he liked Riley. Since Ben hasn't been with Riley, he hasn't been dating anyone. Ben loves Riley and I believe will have a hard time getting over her. Still hoping for a rewrite and they will make Danny and Riley friends. Think of Joey and Rachel in Friends. They couldn't get pass their friendship to date. If their friendship is as strong as they say it is, they should stay friends and not date.
