If you do not have children, have you created a plan for when you will someday need care?

Our children are not by nature mean and selfish. We live in a different more complicated world than our own parents did .I think the days of packing up and moving in with our children is probably over, As for me, I live in Assisted Living with other interesting, independent seniors. My family visits when they can. I try to stay as active as possible and yes, I feel blessed

This is so true for all of us! Just about every mother I know says they don't want to be a burden to their children in any way and yet if you keep digging you find that they often have expectations about what will happen as they age. As a childfree woman I've never had that belief and instead do my best to plan ahead. Thanks for these reminders!
