Yes I would let my soon to be brother-in-law DJ my wedding. He's family, who cares if he screws up, it will be funny and it will be on him. So then I can always praise him for doing such a great job or throw jabs at him for doing a crappy job. People make such a big deal about their weddings and it's so ridiculous, it's music...not brain surgery. Have fun, learn to laugh and get that stick out of your ass. I have never been married, but I have been engaged and it's such a waste of money...spend it on a nice honeymoon or a down payment on a new home. No one is gonna look back and say damn that wedding would have been great if they had spent more money to get a real DJ. No...They are going to be having a good time dancing and drinking. Give the guy a break and make sure before he starts playing music to let everyone know that this is his first time and really embarrass him!! My 2 cents!!!
