I'm in agreement with lurcio, not only do I feel awkward an uncomfortable but I've had people shout at me, call me all sorts, including a pedophile. I won't do street photography any more and my hat goes off to people who do. Very bad experiences.

Not only do I feel awkward about taking photographs in the street, I find that I am continually concerned about the likelihood of adverse reaction from people and the authorities who have managed to create a paranoia in the general public about being photographed by strangers no matter how public the area maybe
