I am a professional U.S based visual artist and art educator. My independent professional artist residency in July 2012 was a good experience. The program met my expectations, and Lorenzo did everything to make my stay comfortable enough. The venue was located close to the board and lodge accommodation offered to me, and the facilities were good.
The separate studio area to create paintings which is my primary medium was convenient. It is an ideal location for artists to get their creative juices flowing. Thanks, Lorenzo! I look forward to a next opportunity maybe a full fellowship invitation.
I came to the Scuola as a resident coordinator on a full fellowship. It was such a great experience working and living with the Scuola family. I felt like I was a part of their family and treated with the up most respect by my fellow peers. I loved working for them and I have gained many skills during my time there. I hope I can do it again sometime. Miss you Lorenzo!
