I voted "yes" because I never even bought the Robotech minis game, despite loving the stories and setting. I benefited from the reviews of people like Paul (above), but I think this still applies to the question.

The Warlord Games Celtic army wasn't horrible to put together, but it was a bit finicky, and I never had the patience or the algebras to be able to assemble the things so that they fit together in ranks.

At the risk of being old fashioned, I don't really like assembly at all. Perry brothers one-piece metals were really fine with me (both their Foundry Celts and their GW Empire State Troops). Step one: glue shield on. There is no step two.

Robotech RPG Tactics....hard brittle plastic, many tiny thin parts that would break just getting them off the sprue, and gaps everywhere since every arm and leg is cut down the middle.

While I will admit they are super poseable 2-3 inch tall models should never have up to 24 parts. It took me more time to build, clean, and green stuff 1 model than 5 models of any other game I currently play (WWX, Malifaux, Warmachine, 40k, etc.). I've been in the hobby for more than 25 years and have never seen anything this bad.
