Safety is important. That said, why aren't these kids working to have some fund raisers to help out the taxpayers by raising some of these funds. years ago, people were glad to help because the kids helped. Now it is all handed to them. I would gladly hire some of the football players to help me with things I have grown too old to do for a reasonable rate. That money could go to defray the costs of the safety program. They could work a few hours each over the summer and pay for it themselves and also have a real sense of accomplishment. What about it coaches? Help out the seniors!

Absolutely Wish they had frequenly changed in my sons playing times. My oldest got what we now was a concussion. He has to take seizure medication to this day. His equipment was for the most part twelve years old. Add to that the fact his brother finally got new playing equipment four years later. No folks do not give in to those that say and said (circa 1998) "...too much is spent in our school budget's for sports..." Safety should be the number one priority for the kids.
