We were visiting Montreal a few years back and watched a major movie filming scenes on the front steps of a large government building. They had made some staging changes to it so that it looked like a government building in NYC. I cannot for the life of me remember what the movie was, or who the star was, but they kept shooting the scene of people running down the steps over and over.

My son and I were extras in the "The War of the Worlds" when they filmed in Athens, NY. We were in the scene where the "people" are trying to board a ferry and escape. We met Mr. Spielberg and Mr. Cruise. It was pretty cool.

The Kremlin Letter was filmed in Patterson, New York in 1969. Richard Boone and Patrick O'Neal were there and I have a picture of me with them. Actually my Father-in-law and Brother-in-law were in the movie as pallbearers. My Father-in-law owned and was the funeral director of the local funeral home in Patterson.

I was an extra in "The Road to Wellville", parts of which were filmed at the Mohonk Mountain House. We sang in the Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner scenes, and actually ate dinner near Anthony Hopkins! Matthew Broderick fell into a bowl of cornflakes in another scene we watched filming.
