I see what you did there. You followed a story about cops acting really badly with a poll with a yes/no question that has hundreds of thousands of pages of legal decisions that attempt to answer the question and the answer is way more complicated than yes/no. Good job.
Run a story about a guy speeding away from the scene of a reported car jacking in a car matching the description of the stolen car and he gets pulled over and the cop hears what sounds like someone screaming and banging on the inside of the luggage compartment and then ask the same question, Should police be able to search your car without a search warrant? I guess it depends on the definition of the word "your."
