Coaching lost us this very winnable game. Where are the adjustments? ATL adjusted on both sides of the ball. How can you let 2 guys (one of them a 2nd stringer) combine on 47 touches for 358 yards and FIVE touchdowns? 24 unanswered points is embarrassing.
We all knew who was getting the ball. The second half went #24, #24, #11, #24, #24, #11....... ALL THE DRUNKS AT THE PUB KNEW who was getting the ball, how can DAL coaching not figure it out? Not once, not twice, but virtually the entire second half? Why was doubling Julio Jones NOT a priority?

IF WE COULD EVER GET A REAL HEAD COACH AND NOT A CHEERLEADER WE COULD START WINNING AGAIN ........................... LOOKS LIKE FIRST ROUND OF THE PLAYOFFS AND THATS IT.

Offensive line dominated in the first half but were clearly outmanned in the second. As usual, the press tends to blame or celebrate the running backs and the quarterback but without a good line, they don't have a chance.

Jason G. has no idea on managing game clock, years he coached several games did not use time outs and if he did poorly does he have a staff to help him, how long does it take to change a game plan quit running same plays i can read the offense, only thing that saved his job is romo and offensive line giving pass and run a chance. He let them get back into the game and went away from run and using clock up.

oops, a typo in previous, was referring to 1st downs, not 2st -- I had a pretty good day typing by Weeden's standards. Garrett gives Bucs a chance to get momentum at end of first half will ill timed timeout -- that's Football 101 Jason. Linehan can't respond to Bucs half time adjustments -- never tells the QB to throw the DAMNED ball downfield rather just lets Bucs stuff running and short passing game. Cowboys coaches lost this game!

OMG, Weeden thinks he barely missed on his interception, yet announcers were having to guess who pass was even intended for. Then he thinks he had a pretty good day, yet he couldn't get but three 2st downs and 54 yards total in the second half. High school 4A QB's could've hit the throws he did -- he doesn't even care and the coaches are in denial (all but Marinelli)

How can a veteran player like Witten commit an untimely penalty (false start, illegal procedure, etc.) every time?

It was a combination of Weeden and a collapse of the defense. The Cowboys have no real deep threat and Weeden was more than content to throw the short routes. If that was the game plan Garrett decided to go with, he should realize most teams will play them the same way (knowing they have no deep threat). They will have to start taking some shots downfield. The Falcons made very good halftime adjustments and dictated the tone of the game the entire second half! When the Cowboys did get the ball in good field position in the 2nd half they did absolutely nothing with it. I knew after that possession they were in trouble!

No pass rush whatsoever. Weeden has no mobility and no open receivers further than 5 yards down the field. Run game was nonexistent in the 2nd half. Defense spent the whole 2nd half on the field.

They say Weeden has a cannon. Then go for it. The receivers are to catch the ball and if they can't they will protect the ball. Do Not be afraid.

Brandon Weeden's INT when the Cowboys were flying high hurt tremendously. Had they gone sown and scored at that point, even three points, and they had not yet been stopped, the complexion of the game from Atlanta's standpoint probably would have changed to something they weren't totally comfortable with.
That INT got them back in the game and they could stick with their game plan. Weeden apparently is not going to throw down field to a WR to stretch the defense. Whether that is by design, fear, or inability, it will be ignored by defenses until a change takes place. He never could hit Dez last year and they never got Terence W involved today. Disastrous consequence.
