abso-motherfuckin'-lutely yay. everybody involved is talented in a different area, and when they're making music as experimental as each is known for, there's plenty of room for everyone to stretch out creatively. thundercat is the ron carter to flylo's miles davis, and nobody raps like the shabazz brothers. the music these cats are making with kamasi washington, kendrick lamar et al will be considered a new jazz renaissance in 20 years. this isn't looping 8 bars of bob marley on your iphone and aping mac miller shitraps; this is big music by real musicians.
