This dude is the most unprofessional sports anchor I have ever listened to. The afternoon show has been on the downside since Stewart left and was replaced by Bell. It's hard to listen with all of the immaturity. During a live interview with Kristen Ledlow on 92.9 The Game Bell said 'I am mad I didn't get to sexually harrass you when you worked here.' She hung up and ended the interview. Who says that seriously. I tweeted an apology to her for him and she said that he wouldn't dare say that to her face.He is extremely immature. And people say 'Oh just needs to know not to say that', he isn't a 6th grader. This guy is over 40 years old. I am happy he is off the air. I hope his suspension is indefinite.

He apologized let's move on. Rachel Nichols is blasting him like crazy on Twitter but she's made no mention of the heartfelt apology he gave on air or any mention of how he accepted responsibility for what he did wrong. She's not perfect, you're not perfect, I'm not perfect & Mike Bell isn't perfect either. My opinion would be different if he hadn't apologized on air, a lot of people in his business would have issued an apology on Twitter & left it that.

Those who are willing to dismiss this and think it's only another impact of political correctness might want to think about something. If someone said the same sexist remarks about your mother, your sister, your wife or any female family member would you be so quick to dismiss it? It's time all of us "boys" got the message that our gender has nothing to do with our abilities to accomplish anything from baseball or softball to chess or cheerleading. Sexist pigs are not "pretty" in any sense of the word.
Grow up guys....it's long past time for that.

love mike bell. he's got to know he can't say things like that, but i agree with him. i don't like female sports anouncers. the lady on espn makes watching a college football game impossible. why do women have to do every job men do? don't men do better jobs at certain professions than women and vice versa? there is a huge amount of women teachers now. where is the outcry for more men teachers. don't hear it except in my household. don't get me started about women in manufacturing jobs. i honestly believe that hiring women for manufacturing jobs was the first step in the demise of american manufacturing. i don't consider myself sexist. i'm all for equal pay for equal work for women. i just women were for equal pay for equal work. they're all in for the equal pay, not necessarily equal work
