What's your opinion on the state of Oklahoma using a non-protocol drug in the execution of Charles Warner?
The execution of Warner successfully resulted in the death of a man who was convicted of raping and murdering an eleven month old girl. While the correct drugs were not used, the end result is justified.
The state’s failure to follow protocol in the Warner execution should result in a re-examination of the process and all currently scheduled executions should be delayed until the state has developed a process to ensure that future executions are carried out appropriately.
The state’s failure to use the correct drugs for the Warner execution is evidence of a broken system. The state can’t be trusted to properly carry out executions and should permanently cancel all currently scheduled executions.
None of the answers above characterize my opinion on the matter.
