My family and I believe the airport should be named after the city we live in. It is a beautiful name for a beautiful city.

The vast majority of Canadians want to forget Mr. Harper and his ilk. It would be distasteful in the extreme to be reminded of him for generations to come.

I don't think he should get that honour. Someone who has caused so much controversy while in office; several of his appointments have been arrested or investigated and are before the courts. Trying to have 2 classes of Canadians and used mis truths and fear to try and get re-elected.
Calgary airport is just not ready to have its name changed. How about naming it after somebody like a military hero who lost his life fighting for Canada, not for someone who tried to destroy Canada.

It is most fitting to name a military airport after Harper, instead of a civil one, as Harper broke the nature of our peace keeping force by sending bombers to overseas.
