Brian France and the Nascar body are destroying the sport. Logano should not have won either one of his restrictor plate wins. The fans pay to see a racing finish not a yellow flag finish. Nascar makes changes before the races start during the season like the GWC rule last week. They do not penalize Harvick for his little stunt last week, will they do anything to Danica this week, or will they do anything to the Penske team for the restart shananigans, who knows. I think Kenseth gave Logano exactly what he deserved, to bad he could'nt of collected Keslowski as well . I stopped going to the races because of the Nascar body.

Any real racing series would suspend Kenseth for at least a year for purposely wrecking the race leader ad he lapped him, but NASCAR isn't a real racing series. It has more in common with the WWE than the NFL. The cheers from the crowd just proved it. The "good guy" takes a cheep shot at the "bad guy" and the crowd goes wild.

Before NASCAR became a "politically correct" pussy sport, what was done was called RACING. All I can say is that I really miss the old days. (When I say pussy sport, I mean when NASCAR let drivers be " Real ", not just people spouting soundbites for tv and radio.) We used to have some really have some crazy MFers out there. Guess I'll have to stick to the local tracks.
NASCAR can't do anything to Kenseth when it did nothing to Harvick who wrecked half the field just last week.
After the season is over, they need to come up with clearly-defined rules and penalties for intentional acts. And they need to enforce them no matter who the driver is. But not now. Do it in the off-season when you have plenty of time to educate everyone.
If Harvick can run a car into the wall on the last restart last week (watch Harvick's eyes in the in car video) then it means anything goes.

Joey's courage comes from his dad egging him on. He called taking out Kenseth OK but cried foul when Harvick did it to him couple years ago. NASCAR is OK with the Penske teams being "school yard bullies" but not with teams who don't want to take their crap. I never thought I would be able to consider not following my favorite sport, but the people running it seem to be doing their best to make it unwatchable.
I've been a nascar fan all my life and pay backs was apart of it waltrip Earnhardt the king they all done it whether you want to admit it or not the wrecks paybacks fights are apart of what made nascar what it is. I think today's race was the best there has been in awhile. The first Daytona race on tv had them all and look what became of nascar. Give us more of it
Nascar has created this mess . Now they want to do something about it . If that's the case lets go back to last week and do something to Harvick with the intentional wreck so he could make the chase . Its all bull . No wonder the stand are not full anymore .
Ladies and Gentlemen Anyone that thinks that this was the correct way to handle payback must be kidding. All you Logano haters, he was racing for a win in Kansas, not laying possum to spin a leader out when you have nothing to lose. He talks of respect, what does he teach his children. I do not understand why drivers like Kenseth feel as though no one should be able to race them, anything less than suspending him from Daytona would not be enough. I ask Nascar fans should Penske put the 12 car on the track next week and wreck the other two Gibbs cars, its only payback. When does it end?
They should give him a medal! First, Keslowski and Logano "rigged" the several restarts by Keslowski holding back the inside lane so Logano could slip down in front of him, and then Keslowski wrecked Kenseth rather than allow Kenseth to pass Logano. It's easy to see where Keslowski's and Logano's immaturity comes from -- both their dads show the same trait! Keslowski's dad was going to get into a fire suit and settle things with Edwards on the track after Edwards wrecked his boy (yeah, right -- like THAT was likely to happen!) and now Logano's dad shows his rear end by charging into the pit area and near the care center. What a joke! Like Kenseth said: "Sometimes you're the bat and sometimes you're the ball!" Logano and Keslowski are more than willing to dish it out, but neither is willing to man up and take it.
Watch the wreck in slow motion and you will see Joey turn in front of Matt before he is clear. Also Matt car never turns left, if he could turn left would he run his car head on into the wall?
Keslowski purposely wrecked Kenseth earlier, and I do not know about you, looked like Kenseth blew a tire, causing him to go up the track, collecting Logano, and I challenge NASCAR to prove otherwise.....Kenseth is my new hero and it is damn nice to see someone with bull nuts still in NASCAR. NASCAR should be trying to find a way to put more people in the stands, rather then some minor incident on the track.....I guess NASCAR leadership will not be happy until they have completely ruined the sport. The Formula one race in Austin Texas outdrew the last three NASCAR events combined.....
Lagano can dish it out, but like all whiny little brats, he cannot take it. If anyone needs penalized it should be him and his team. Also NASCAR should really take a close look at the 22 cars. Those cars are consistently faster than the rest of the field, and little Joey is just not that good. By the way, I am not a fan of Kenseth. Jeff has always been my choice so three cheers for him today!!

Logano showed again that he is by far the best driver this year. Kenseth is a sore loser and will hopefully receive a serious suspension and Gibbs will have to pay a hefty fine for sponsoring this loser.

The NASCAR governing body has been orchestrating stock car racing long enough. They have lost control with their subjective judgements of caution use, variable racing "rule packages", inconsistant penalty use of driver behavior (both on and off track). Wrecking someone from behind for the lead vs. vengence should be treated with the same penalty....whatever that may be, period. Too many inconsistent decisions by the governing body cause loss of respect from both drivers and fans. Maybe we need to change these rules decision makers on a regular basis instead of the rules !!

1st Nascar should fire NBC. When the crowd there stood UP & Applauded when Logano got knocked out of the race, that about said it all.!
They let Logano get away with it two weeks ago, and again last week on pit road with the break checking. Let it be this week, but then take a stand after this. You can't penalize one and not the other. Logano was wrong and so was Kenseth, but NASCAR should have stepped in before now and taken control.

Seems everybody is forgetting a few years ago when Gordon wreck #15 to keep him from winning. I remember Dale Sr. saying many times, bump Me once, I'll bump You twice, wreck Me once, and I will wreck You twice. I like it myself. Lagano is nothing but a cry baby in my opinion and #2 is more of the same. I will say this, a lot of people have quit watching and going to the races because NASCAR keeps changing the rules at their discretion. They took out 41,000 seats just in Daytona alone. They have got everybody's car set up the same way, which I think is dumb. Come on NASCAR, turn them loose and let the best car WIN.

But again since u kneel in front of Joey, he did wreck Matt 2 weeks ago purposely, and most along with what Harvick did is ruining this sport. Matt Kenseth deserves a medal since France, Helton and the other NASCAR jerks are a do nothing bunch. NASCRAP is just about finished with make up rules as we go and never consistent and broadcasters today were way off base. I think the fans spoke when they gave Kenseth a standing ovation of approval. I think Lagono got what he had coming. The 2 and 22 ganged up on him earlier and damaged him so as the saying goes "what goes around comes around"! I don't blame him at all especially after last week.
Matt should be fined and suspended for the remainder of the season. He tried to cut off the 2 on the restart and caused both to wreck. since Matt was out of being able to win he deliberately wreck the 22 who was going to win the race. Matt showed a complete absence of class and I will never buy a Toyota or support anyone on that team. Further Matt is a cry baby. When it does not work out in his favor he cries foul. how weak.
Joey Lagono caused the wreck look at the photo he came down on Matt, Matt did not lift the vacuum around Logano's car sucked Matt right up into his rear left quarter panel. Look at your photo, listen to what Joey's spotter told him and still Joey came down on Kenseth. If anyone sits the rest of the season out and gets fined etc should be team Penske and Joey.
I really don't have any sympathy for the two or the twenty two. They brought this upon themselves. Kenseth was just playing by the rules that Logano and Brad set. I don't have any doubt that the driver of the two is still trying to get even with the 20 for what happened between the haulers. They started this crap. Now they want to whine, piss and moan. Grow up or find a different way to make a living.
What NASCAR should do and what NASCAR will do don't really matter, do they. This "have at it boys" mentality has destroyed the sport. This sport was catching the NFL as the most popular spectator sport 10-12 years ago. Now they won't even show TV shots of the stands because are so empty.
Nascar should re-instate Kenseth back into the chase. It was obvious that Logano wrecked Kenseth a couple weeks ago, but very much looked as if Kenseth had a steering problem today. Nascar does not have a reputation for being fair, but now as good a time as any to start.

I too have been a NASCAR fan for 40 plus years and the fact that you idiots think it is okay to take out ANY driver on purpose at speed sickens me. I have no horse in this race, so I don't give a rats ass who's name is on the car...YOU DON'T INTENTIONALLY WRECK ANYONE AT SPEED!!! NASCAR didn't punish Joey for what he did to Matt so how can you suggest Matt be punished. Harvick should have been black flagged too and that didn't happen either. Can't pick and chose the rules.

Okay, I get that LOGANO (that's the correct spelling you tards) wrecked Kenseth after he (kenseth) blocked Logano several times...all of the other drivers said they'd have done the same thing in that situation. Not sure what the pit road stuff really boiled down to but when it's all said and done Matt not only ran into Joey, but he stayed on the gas and pushed Logano into the outside wall...VERY DELIBERATE LOOKING...hence Nascar calling that whole bunch to the hauler after the race....Kenseth really needs to seek counseling. The 2 and the 22 have been pushing Kenseth around so I think they BOTH got what they deserved today. I have to tell you, I came out of my chair when Kenseth put the 22 in the wall. All the people in the stands seemed to love it too. They were all standing and clapping.

I agree that the announcers need to go. Their personal opinions and bias have made it impossible to enjoy the race any more. i am sick of seeing the first 6 cars out of the on track coming out of the turns for 500 miles. Is it so hard to let the camera stay on one part of the track until all 42 cars pass by at least once every 10 laps.

Skid marks? Really? there are traction marks. Neither is my favorite driver. however. It has gotten out of control. You cannot allow a back marker to change the outcome of the race on purpose. And you cannot allow the fans approval of wrecking some one to set the penalty.
In this case. Joey did nothing but attempt to lap a slow car. Matt wrecked him because a few weeks ago. Joey didn't give on a block by Matt, and Matt spun himself out on Joeys front fender.
What do I think? Suspend him for 5 races. Then maybe he, and others will think twice before they decide to take some one out. You know. People get hurt wrecking others. and while Joey, Matt, Tony, and Danica are not my Favorite drivers. I don't want to see them hurt. Especially over something as stupid as a intentional wreck. the sport is dangerous enough with out trying to hurt each other.

They should go back n look at the skid marks on the track showing Kenseth tried to stop! Give him the same benefit of the doubt you gave Harvick last week! Kenseth is one of the nicest drivers in NASCAR. Nascar has allowed The 22 and 2 to get away with everything this season! If they weren't such dirty drivers no one would even think about taking them out! After Talledega, NASCAR has 0% credibility with many of the fans! Before NASCAR starts talking about any driver's integrity and accountability, they need to take a long hard look at themselves! Changing the rules every week definitely looks like favoritism to a few drivers! If you're going to let 2-3 drivers run all over the rest of the field and never call them on it, then fans are going to think NASCAR has 0% integrity! I've been a fan for many many years, and I'm about to quit watching! Had any other drivers pulled the crap the 2 ,the 22,and the 4 pulled this year they would already been heavily penalized. I still remember the year Dale,Jr. had 6 wins and NASCAR penalized him big time for saying shit! If all of Earnhardt's fans decided to quit watching NASCAR, it would cost them plenty. He's one of the most respectful drivers on the track, yet you never cut him any slack! Start treating everyone equal! Drivers like Logano and Kesolowski are anything but honest and ALL the other drivers know it! If you're gonna dish it, be big enough to take it!
Broadcasters need suspended for their clearly biased comments about their favorite boy.....Lagano. Check reaction of crowd and tell me if you still think Kenseth made the wrong move. Lagano and Kesslowski both clearly have track records of hindering Kenseth's efforts in past.....why isn't that reported more objectively. Just look at why Kenseth was not on lead lap.....Penske Team!!!!!!
