Should Matt Kenseth's two-race suspension have been overturned or reduced?

I think they should have also parked the 20 car for the 2 races ,there is no room for that crap in racing ,if your racing for the lead is one thing ,not when a car is 9-10 laps down !!

  • Dale - 8 years ago

Nascar has ruined what used to be a good sport. They play favorites with their rules and penalties. The 'chase' is a big joke this year - the years championship should be based on the years racing, not bumping people out of contention before the year is over!

Until NASCAR starts treating everyone the same I will not watch any more. I am not a Matt fan but NASCAR got it WRONG. If you are not going to let them police themselves then be FAIR.

  • hank - 8 years ago

This brain wave called the Chase is a complete asinine joke. It stinks and causes so much friction MUST be eliminated and race for and by points only

  • whitey - 8 years ago

you NASCAR should have suspended Matt for only one race, and let him race at Phoenix, so he would have a chance to transfer to Homestead.

  • jphn - 8 years ago

I remember being at Fontana and watching Joey wreck Denny Hamlin and breaking his back Joey's him to get away with everything by NASCAR they just want a young punk to be the champion he wrecked Matt on purpose Matt just return the favor. Joey the punk took Matt out of championship contention Matt. an eye for an eye tooth for tooth A wreck for a wreck

  • Barb barlow - 8 years ago

I BELIEVE A FINE AND POINTS AT BEST JUST LIKE PATRICK (same race) IM NOT WORRIED ABOUT JOEY LOGANO ; I BELIEVE HE WILL BEAT HIMSELF!!!

  • Matt - 8 years ago

What ever happen to real honest racing? The way they act is these drivers are out there playing footzy with one another . Come on lets get back to real racing. Nascar is a joke.

  • David - 8 years ago

Nascar is full of it,you could see Matts car was locked because of Logano,Nascar needs to get agrip that is just racing

  • Ron Paul - 8 years ago

Kenseth suspension should have been for the rest of the year and on probation for all of next season.
    This was a cowardly act.

  • teresa doyle - 8 years ago

Nascar does not care what the fans think. They created this disaster for ratings and things got out of hand. The only way to change anything is them losing sponsor dollars. That is the only thing they care about. I am a Jr. fan and was so upset after the Talledega that I refused to watch another race. It made my day when I saw the highlights of the race. Nascar got what they wanted, that's all people are talking about. I think Matt Kennseth had to know there would be a penalty for his actions . I guess the satisfaction of dumping Logano was worth it. The fans should just forget it and move on . You are giving Nascar exactly what they want by expressing so much outrage.

  • Tim Bandit - 8 years ago

If you have watched NASCAR as long as i have you, should be used to NASCAR's inconsistency. Remember in 1991 Ricky Rudd was penalized for spinning Davey Allison out while battling for the lead during the closing laps at Sonoma? I have never seen that happen before or since. When you make the rules, you can make up the rules.

  • Cliff - 8 years ago

All NASCAR has to do is look at all the empty seats each weekend to see where their sport is headed. If they want to reverse this trend, all they need to do was listen to the fans after the altercation at Martinsville. The of cheers from the crowd should have opened the ears of NASCAR's governing body. The fan base was not cheering the wreck itself, but the results of someone willing to put career on the line to provide closure to a situation that NASCAR was unwilling to address. While I do not condoning Mr. Kenseth's methods, NASCAR has the ultimate responsibility for a situation, any situation to reach this far. NASCAR was once exciting to watch, but today it has become rather boring, and like myself, people have found other things to do on Sunday than sit and watch cars go round and round.

  • S. Brown - 8 years ago

Holy smokes, Matt is my new hero. Those Penske punks need taming. I rooted for both Brad and Joey when they first entered the Sprint. Now I can't stand either one and hope they finish last. Jr. Is my man, but Matt, I love you for teaching that spoiled brat that he can do as he pleases. Daddy Lagano has created a monster. And pop needs to stay home.

  • Duke - 8 years ago

Several polls say pretty much the same thing. 75 to 80% either in favor of Matt's actions and/or in disagreement with NASCAR's decisions. Now if the crowds on the next two Sunday's are down 80% there will be some REAL bitching, FROM THE TRACK OWNERS!
Many say that they are done, boycotting races WILL send a message!!!

  • Barb - 8 years ago

    Done with NASCAR.

  • indyj0hn - 8 years ago

Harvick caused wreck and the caution at Dega and cost Newman or Dale a spot in the chase but that ok. Whyis that ok. Also, changing the rules so that we finish with a caution instead of racing is counter-productive. Oh, such an exciting finish!!! Also, lets get rid of the lucky dog so we can see real racing. This sport is regressing. The same rules should apply to everyone!!!!

  • Susie - 8 years ago

I would just like to add, that if you stop watching the Sprint Cup all together you probably weren't a real fan in the first place, but remember we watch the race because of the drivers. We just need to let NASCAR know that we're not happy about their decision so Boycott the next 2 races. Being a quitter never accomplishes anything. We need to change the system not let the system force us to stop watching we enjoy.

  • Susie - 8 years ago

I am a fan of Matts for many years, do I think what Matt did was right NO, do I understand why he did it ABSOLUTELY, was I cheering when he wrecked Logano YOU KNOW IT! But here's my issue...and I don't care who the driver was...NASCAR should not be able to be so inconsistent they should have set rules and set penalties (and yes NASCAR) you can do that it's called organization and planning. NASCAR knew what was going to happen and yet they did nothing to prevent it, come on how smart was that pull him aside, or all drivers for that matter and tell them this is what will happen, but instead they turned a blind eye to it. And unfortunately I will not be watching the next 2 races in support of Matt. I will also be urging all of my other NASCAR fans to BOYCOTT these 2 races. NASCAR wake-up and smell the burning rubber.

  • Bob - 8 years ago

Time to get one to start watch Arca race or some other sport. I noticed than the 2 & the 22 were protect each other and Matt was getting too close to getting bye the 22, so the 2 took Matt out and that was why he was down laps. Not a thing was said about the 2 wreaking Matt. I guess it is time to forget about asscar and their kid games. Back to FOOTBALL

  • Allen - 8 years ago

    Looks like Football on Sunday's.

  • ROB - 8 years ago

If it is not overturned I will no longer be watching WWE NASCAR! It is no longer Racing, wait maybe they should use replay and each have a red towel so the play can be reviewed. Better yet let the pit crew have a few party chair to use in the pit area to use on the oppenents drivers while in the pit. NASCAR .... Tag team championship lumberjack match. I am done with it like Jeff Gordon!!!! win one last time......

  • Tony Parsons - 8 years ago

I would like to say that the appeals board is a joke and not fair. The reason why it shouldn't be made up of people that own tracks that run NASCAR races. It needs to be made up of people that has nothing to do with NASCAR. I will be boycott NASCAR races and their supports I am sure glade that I have not upgraded my Sprint Phone cause I will be going to another carrier now. I hope that more people will do the same by boycotting you tell you make things right. Take a look at what your fans are saying and the polls are saying. Maybe the drivers will park the cars right before the start/finish and not race Sunday tell you put MATT back in the car. I can see a fine but not setting him down for 2 races.

  • Allen - 8 years ago

I'm not a Kenseth fan and it doesn't seem like Nascar is either. They sure blew this one.

  • Stephen Ellis - 8 years ago

This whole thing stinks!!! NASCAR is making their decisions from the media. Look what the media did to Tony Stewart. and he was innocent. The original rule was that anyone who changes the outcome of the race while in the chase, would be penalized!!! It doesn't matter if you are going for the win or not. At Kansas, Joey knew that Matt had a better car and needed a win to continue in the chase. Joey's intention was to take Matt out. He allowed his car to move up the track to bump Matt and spin him out. At Martinsville, Matt got hit twice from the Penske teammates Brad and Joey. Brad spun Matt out around 65 laps to go, hoping to take Matt out of the race so that Matt would not interfere with Joey. Then, if you watch the replay very closely, Matt was turning left down into turn 1, and Joey turned down into Matt ignoring his Spotter who TOLD Joey 4 times that Matt was still down there, and his tone was getting more upset each time he told Joey, so the one who made the first contact that caused the wreck, was Joey!!! Think about it! If Joey had kept his distance away from Matt while going into turn 1, do you really think that Matt would purposely try to wreck Joey then? I don't think so, but who knows. Joey deserves what he got. He and Brad thinks that racing hard is to do anything and everything to win a race, and that even means to spin or wreck someone out of the race! That is what happened when Brad went between Jeff and Jimmy and made an opening, causing Jeff to spin out and wreck. NASCAR needs to either drop the penalties on Matt or penalized Joey who started it all in Kansas and continued at Martinsville. Again, Joey caused both wrecks!!!

  • Jody O'Grady - 8 years ago

First thing, he should have never been suspended in the first place!!! How can the Nascar idiots punish Matt for something that Lagano did in Kansas?? They said he was justified in his actions to wreck Matt, but not the other way around. I still believe Nascar picks who they want as the winner and this year they wanted Lagano and will do whatever to make sure it happens!!!

  • CJ - 8 years ago

I don't have NBCSN, so I can't watch the races during the 2nd half of season and honestly with the way NASCAR changes rules from week to week I am beginning to think it might be rigged. Wonder how many other fans cannot see the races because NASCAR sold the broadcast rights to NBCSN?

  • John - 8 years ago

Maybe Nascar would see what is happening to their standings in the TV world with so many fans not going to races, cancelling future races and just plain start following a different sport. I agree that it should be the driver with the most points wins the championship. I think that the Frances should bring in some new blood to make some common sense changes. Just like they would do in other sports. If it isn't working for you, get rid of the decision makers and get someone else to run the show. We no longer are ticket holders and we are a family of race fans that go back to the 50's. It is really messed up now. I hope that changes get made and the way that would happen is if Nascar will listen to the fans. I wish you well and hope you get it.

  • Lady Fan - 8 years ago

As a 65 yr. old. female fan since 1993, I am disgusted with Nascar. Matt had no choice but to settle it himself. Matt had to know Nascar would make an example of him, but he had to show you can't spin him out or run over him and get away with it. Fans sided with Matt for the same reason they booed Sr. when he wreaked Terry Labonte. I see no difference in how Matt affected the Chase anymore than Logano and Harvick.

  • larry - 8 years ago

when you willing run into another car at speeds of 100+ miles per hour, no matter who you are, they should be arrested and charged with attempted murder. they are insane.

  • Shawn - 8 years ago

Watched both videos, Joey clearly turned down on Matt, The other video from Joey's in car, his spotter is telling him over and over he is not clear. It is clear he ran into Matt. Where Matt went wrong was driving him into the wall after Joey initiated the contact. That was not cool. But I did enjoy it. Joey had it coming to him. Paybacks are a bitch. Glad they both walked away to race again.

  • Karen Johnson - 8 years ago

A pox on you, NASCAR. You got this one WRONG. This Cambridge resident rejects your action and devision. No Matt, no race view.

  • pat taft - 8 years ago

WHAT DID JOEY GET WHEN HE DID THE SAME TO MATT

  • sean - 8 years ago

Matt got a raw deal joey brags about wrecking matt and nascar gives him an attaboy, lets not forget about joey wrecking denny hamlin on purpose and almost ending his career. I am only watching modifides from now on

  • Joe B - 8 years ago

#FreeMatt - Well, NASCAR has lost two long term fans for good. We have tickets for Homestead, along with flights, hotels, etc. Have been attending for 10+ years. The 2015 finale will be our finale. We are done. Voting with our wallets and our feet.

  • Dan58401 - 8 years ago

I'm not a Matt Kenseth fan, But he definitely got screwed. I'm a big believer in what goes around, comes around. Joey got what he deserves!!! This whole playoff thing just plains sucks. Nascar needs to go back
to way it ways sevedral years ago, the driver with the most points WINS the championship!!! Screw this playoff BS!!! Great job Matt!

  • Pat Gann - 8 years ago

I don,t realy care for JOEY OR Matt but Way To go Matt proud of you, the decision was Wrong, how about the last race when Harveck, said his car would,nt keep up with the other cars, and he wrecked the cars around him, I thought there is a rule that sayes if you can,t keep up with the pack PARK IT. ya I all so see ALL THOES EMPTY SEATS.

  • Jim - 8 years ago

Do a Tom Brady...take it to court!

  • Buck - 8 years ago

What happened the week before is nothing like what happened at Martinsville. Kenseth was 9 laps down and wrecked the leader of the race. The prior incident happened between 2 cars racing for the win. There is BIG difference. The truth is Kenseth got off easy. he should sit out thew rest of the season, in fact the #20 car should be parked until Daytona 2016. He got off easy.

  • Peggy - 8 years ago

Nascar you are ruining the races with all the changes you have made and rules that don't hold for all the drivers. If you had done the same for Joey as what you did to Matt ,it would not have made every one so mad. I am about through with the races. The races are not fun to watch anymore, with all the changes and having the rules change all the time.

  • Ken - 8 years ago

I notice every race more and more empty stands and if I know the reason why can't Brian
France figure is out. After all I was just a loyal fan once. Way to go Matt!!!!

  • Melissa B - 8 years ago

If Nascar didnt suspend or punish Joey Logano for same thing the week prior and sorta gave him a atta boy then Matt Kenseth should not be punished. Get rid of the playoffs in Nascar and just let them race like it should be. This format is NOT working

  • rick marron - 8 years ago

yes it should be , as why is it that joey can wreck matt at kansas and get away with it and gloat about it, but matt susposidely wrecks him on purpose he get suspened for two races, that is crap, and joeyis a piece of trash, the drivers code is to be right , and the drivers police themselves as they have always done,

  • Walter E. Dearie - 8 years ago

    Matt gets suspension, Kevin does't. Vince mcMahon rumored to be buying N A S C A R

  • Ken - 8 years ago

It really is a sad day for nascar! when you sit back and look at the last couple of years of racing it is obvious that the only reason they have a rule book is so that they will have something to change. Brian France P5 violation Ban for life, actions detrimental to nascar and its fans. The normal penalty would have been a 6 race probation period but no suspension, and a nice little fine to line Brian's bank account. Look at what they did to Clint Bower to make sure he couldn't win the championship, and then just gave JJ a warning to not cheat for the umpteenth time this year not to mention years past. I have been a regular at Daga for the past ten years, I chose not to go this year do to the poor quality of the racing and I didn't go to the spring race and by the time the October race came around I could have my pick of seats for half of what I paid in the past. Think about it Brian 200,000 people at $200.00 per person or 100,000 people at $100.00 per person which is the better deal????? Bet you can't figure that out. Put Matt back in the car and repeal his suspension. period.

  • Jay - 8 years ago

Matt was wrong what he did was with intent when it was clear that joey had the best car
...all the yes comments are filled with hate ,you got it right Nascar!

  • mike - 8 years ago

Have at it boys, is good. If u block u can expect a bump , if u put your slow car in front of a faster car what do u expect ? They r Racing , If u have a slow car laps down and turn in to the leader, that's ILL,
Good Job Nascar, Upping the Penalty is right, Maybe the next Hot head will think

  • Rich G - 8 years ago

Looks like the Packers for the next two Sundays instead of NASCAR!!!

  • Robin - 8 years ago

you just lost a great fan for at least 2 weeks! NASCAR YOU SCREWED UP!

  • ed - 8 years ago

matt putting joey in the wall and feff winning made it the best race of the year. Thanks guys

  • Bob - 8 years ago

Really Dave your obviously a penske fan

  • hot rod - 8 years ago

I go back to Riverside, and Ontario days. Nascar you and your bullshit rule changes and one sided views ARE good for one and horsecrap for every one else!!!! If you tried to do this to E SR.he would told you to F----OFF .you stuck it to MATT and broke it OFF!!!!! We have a group of adults that go to all west coast races TICKETS CANCELED.!!!!!

  • Bob - 8 years ago

BTW I'm pretty sure Joey the little bi**ch is not going to win the championship nor his bf Brad

  • j dobbs - 8 years ago

I think Matt should be able to race, NASCAR needs to stop changing the rules. Danica purposely wrecked someone and what punishmnet did she get a little 50,000 fine. Brad and Joey are little punks. I was at Talladega and I hated the freakin rules change with the green white checkered. Did you hear the crowd, that should free Matt itself

  • dave - 8 years ago

NASCAR got it wrong. Kennseth should have been parked for the year. We don't need WWF in front of the NASCAR name. It is a sport not a show.

  • Jeff - 8 years ago

Nascar wants to make it less boring go to heats and feature might be harder racing, instead of boring Sunday drive and race last 50 laps hard. joey was locked in and ended Matt's chance, and I hope Matt ruined his, he had it coming.

  • LINDA LEE BURKLOW - 8 years ago

"Have at it, boys!''....wasn't that what NASCAR said? Viewers and attendance picked up at all venues. Isn't that what they wanted? And since when do you get to go BACK and say "We don't like the way you are playing by our rules, so we are going to change the rules and GO BACK and SELECTIVELY fine, suspend, or WHATEVER we chose to whoever we want" Why was not Harvick fined or suspended when - 4 laps down - he intentionally caused a caution which resulted in his making the chase (he couldn't have made it playing by the rules) Why wasn't Brad K. fined or suspended when he hit Kennseth from behind on pit road AFTER the race ended?? Spell the rules out BEFORE the season starts and then play by them.

  • Bob - 8 years ago

I'm pretty sure 99% of the NASCAR fans watching the race jumped up out of there chair on Sunday with there fist in the air and said yeah i know i did because he deserved it that's why i watch NASCAR because of the drama they should have more of it think but yet you punish the driver who was only giving a little pay back for getting wrecked two weeks before that when he had a really good chance of winning that race and moving on to the next round shame on you NASCAR

  • Greg Clayton - 8 years ago

As others have said, this will be my last year watching NASCAR. Their willy nilly policing is absurd. No consistency in punishment, just knee jerk stupidity. The money has blinded the top brass and they have lost touch with the fan base. This thing is going to collapse around them and thy're never going to know what hit them. One word - CART!

  • steve - 8 years ago

lets just change the names a little. what if kenseth had taken out logano in Kansas? and then logano takes out kenseth at talledega? ruining kenseth's chances at a championship? would all you be saying what you are saying now? you probably would have wanted logano suspended literally and figuratively if that had happened. but no, it was the other way around and kenseth, a good ole boy driver with many years of driving deciding to take out younger driver who was doing better than him because he had an opportunity to. and also trying to make a egotistic cowardly point. sadly, right is right! wrong is wrong! kenseth was dead wrong in this. he took a potential championship and potential dollars out of the hard working team of logano. quite frankly I don't care if that name was logano, Earnhardt, jr, or joe blow from down the street. there is a time and place for making a statement when you feel you have been wronged. but when you make a cowardice stance by altering the integrity of the sport by taking out a contender as well as taking the livelihood from someone's hands, you are wrong! what's to prevent some egotistic hard ass from getting a bunch of start and park cars to take out the competing field so that he can win a race or a championship? get away from all the bullsh*t rhetoric and take a look at the big picture. kenseth single handedly killed the integrity of nascar racing!!!

  • King - 8 years ago

Have to agree with moose, old chase was the best . Cheated Gordon out of a championship, my last year 2.

  • Gary Moose - 8 years ago

    Larry is a retard .

  • Bob - 8 years ago

To those who think this ruling was too harsh and needs to be overturned, ..then I suppose the next time your favorite driver is leading a chase race, it'd be OK for someone to just as blatant as Matt did, ...take him out? That'd be OK huh? LOL Whiners!

  • Lawrence Brady - 8 years ago

Nascar is like pro wrestling. All staged and predetermined favorites. I will no longer watch or associate with it. They need to return to real stock car racing of individuals, no teams, and no preferential treatment of the chosen ones.

  • King - 8 years ago

Should have given Matt a medal.

  • D Smitty - 8 years ago

Lagano is an immature punk that has just enough driving skills to be on the track. He is unprofessional and a black eye on NASCAR along with teammate Keslowski. What Kennseth did was give him a wake up call and a chance to wake up. I would REALLY love to see the 22 wrecked out of all of the remaining reces this. Now that would be justice.

  • Gary Moose - 8 years ago

It was for nascar to do this to matt the same punishment should be enforced lawino 22 I have never liked the little punk along with his team mate .mm 2 wrecked gordon last year nothing happened its crazy to think how many races earnhart would have not won if it wasnt for wrecking . Thabk god this is gordons lastyear cause its mine also no more nascar for me .I think its all setup who is gonna win these days you have all the same cars with different manufacturer s names on them kind of like the ole iroc series . When is nascar gonna aatually listen to the fans that make this sport even happen the chase is a complete joke the old system was the best the most consistent driver won the championship and thats the way it should be .

  • rick fahl - 8 years ago

screw you napscar Just cancellrd my tickets to next years datona and darlington i have had it with you changing the rules by car number and driver watched my last napscr race this life bring on the sprint cars

  • frank - 8 years ago

#22 needs to be penalized also because he did the same thing to matt. in the first place. or is he your golden boy. thanks for nothing nascar you suck you let joey get away with everything and not take care of your vets. way to go.

  • Charles Ellenberger IV - 8 years ago

Well I got to sa is what joey want's he gets. He is a kiss butt kind of guy. Joey is a wieiner baby.. what would they have done if it was Earnhartd SR.!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • MickieLee Malnar - 8 years ago

If Nascar doesn't come up with a book of rules set in cement, I' m done, tired of Brian Frans pets getting favoritism!! That little twirp Joey Lagano wrecked Matt , where was his punishment! Mr.!!!! Frans said he was just getting rid of his competition. Give me a break, where is the Justice!! Very very tired of Nascar changing rules from week to week! Even more tired of everyone kissing Brian Frans bootie!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Bud Wegmiller - 8 years ago

Nascar seems to forgotten how they got started on tv with the wreck and fight at Daytonain1969.Little boy France probably was not even in diapers then. The two Penske hotheads should be the ones suspended.

  • Fred - 8 years ago

First the politically correct deal with the Rebel flag. Now with this. Nascar gets no more of my money. I'm not watching the next 2 races or anymore Talladega's or Daytona. Offroad and dirt track for me.
    Fred
    Arizona

  • Mike - 8 years ago

Joey took Matt out of the chase but NOTHING, it was racing. I saw one view where Matt was on the brake going into the corner, then Joey comes down on him like you move over. Joey is the one that cause the wreck by coming down on Matt. But he is not boy enough to admit it. Nascar showing favorites, if not a Penske car no big deal.

  • lonnie b - 8 years ago

Bryan france! Just how long do you people plan on being so DUMB! No teams, no fans, no NASCAR! You really need to watch the video again! Joey logano is not the back bone of nascar! You say you suspended Matt because he interfered with the chase! What the hell did logano do at kansas, as he was already locked in to next round and Matt had the lead of race and a win to advance to the next round, if cry baby Joey could not pass him without taking him out! So unequal on your calls of wrong doing by drivers. Put Matt back in his car and let him race! Do something with cry baby's daddy also!!!!!

  • Terry J. Wenning - 8 years ago

Nascar owns the sport through the France family and they are bosses. What they didn't take the time to do was going into Martinsville have a meeting with the Cup drivers and owners.Than tell the drivers that they are starting the final races before the championship race that any wrecking of any car in the race that could change the outcome of the next 4 races will be dealt starting then.Parking them right then and sit them down for the next race.
YOU MIGHT BE NASCAR BUT YOU HAVE TO SPELL OUT THE ""RULES"" BEFORE THE INCIDENT.That's like being arrested before you drink and drive.

  • rick - 8 years ago

well im about done with nascar.next week nascar will have something new in the rules .
then change them the week after.all I can say is let the man race.

  • Larry Tarter - 8 years ago

Funny how Gordon, and Jr,and punk Harvick, and hot head Stewart can do anything the want, and the beer guzzlers loveit!!!!!

  • JAMES - 8 years ago

WHY DID JOEY GET AWAY CLEAN WHEN HE TOOK MAT OUT WHAT THE DEAL WITH THAT NASCAR

  • Arlan - 8 years ago

I meant to say Fine, not fan.

  • Tom tutone - 8 years ago

    Matt was WRONG period

  • Arlan - 8 years ago

I meant to say Fine, not fan.

  • Judy P - 8 years ago

IF they decide that a particular rule be enforced, SHOULDN'T it be done with advance notice? Not, as in this case, "well others in the past got away with it but YOU don't !!!" This is SO WRONG. He should SUE !!! And I really dislike people suing.

  • JAMES CUTTING - 8 years ago

WHY DID JOEY GET AWAY CLEAN WHEN HE TOOK MAT OUT WHAT THE DEAL WITH THAT NASCAR

  • Arlan - 8 years ago

Well, his name isn't Gordon or he would have received a huge fan and points reduction. Nascar isn't fair in their decisions. It does make a difference in what your name is. It is evident, he isn't one of their fair-haired boys.

  • Jeff - 8 years ago

They should suspend Joey for being a little bitch

  • Benny Lane - 8 years ago

I believe that Pro-wrestling is far more realistic than this mockery is. If Vegas is still giving odds on outcome of chase and races, then everyone should get bets down on the PENSKE TWINS.

  • James - 8 years ago

@George, you are right. Matt held his line and lagano came down into him

  • James - 8 years ago

The Penski Punks have been wrecking people for the last 2 years and not even a slap on the wrist. This was long overdue and i wasn't a Kensth fan, until last week that is. Way to go Matt!!!!!

  • george - 8 years ago

Has anyone looked at the lane markers on the track? It was not Matt that changed lanes!

  • Nick - 8 years ago

It should have been more. NASCAR has a reputation as a redneck/white trash sport and some of the comments only reinforces this.

  • CHRIS - 8 years ago

NASCAR are you paying attenti0on? Just a reminder, without fans you have nothing and you have less today then you had yesterday.

  • Gina Hocket - 8 years ago

#FreeMatt--Wish Nascar would have listened to the fans and the drivers. Hope another driver (or 40) takes up the torch the next two weeks.
