Howdy...I'm shy of 75, and I just bought what could be my final muscle car...a 2018 Camaro ss 1LE. I've got about 1100 miles, and to this point this car is a real bargain considering what it does...and it does all the reports, reviews, and YouTube videos report it does. It is fast and quick,..the track package is a real plus...terrific suspension, Brembo brakes, 6-speed close ratio tranny, and a 3.78 Posi rear with Goodyear 305/20's on the rear and 285/20's on the front. The LT-1 455HP engine performs magnificently...the Recaro seats are a must for old guys. I traded my 2011 Mustang GT 5.0 6 speed auto 38K miles and got a great deal...the Mustang was a fun car, but can't hold a candle to this Camaro. Other muscle cars I have owned were a 1988 Trans Am GTA, and a 1965 Corvette roadster...Muncie four speed and a 1970 350 engine, a 1965 VW Beetle with a rebuilt fastback motor and lots of goodies, and a 1967 Camaro 327...270 HP three speed. Everything elso have been daily drivers. I'm not hard on any of my cars, and aside from knowing what I'm driving and comfortable that everything I need in a car is at my fingertips in huge amounts is cool...muscle cars are cool....period.
