What a freaking joke, just like always brokers, companies, shippers DOT everyone are to put all responsibility on the driver,if we say NO they won't keep you moving if you OK the run and get caught they're going to say they didn't force you, this industry is really fucked up,they should create a law to force this industry to pay us for every single mile we drive, downtime when truck breaks down, detention either at the shippers or final destination get pay for spending the weekend 3000 miles away from home, again these people in the government they think they can make this industry better, but they just make it worse

What about assholes that tell us to move when we're parked safely on a on/off ramp or other safe places when we're on our 10hr or 34hr breaks?

This is going to take unanimous participation from ALL company drivers. ALL trucking companies attempt to get drivers to move as much freight as possible. That is simply good business. All too often they lose sight of safety, and legal. Many new drivers do not know where to draw the line. Maybe the new laws can correct that.

On the first view they might be considered as driver protecting riules. Fine. But who helps the driver after having reported to the agency, when the employer finds out, who reported, and starts trying to find any reason to get rid of that driver, who reported to the agency ?
