You complain about the voice having a favorite, yet it isn't the voice giving him standing ovations and buying his songs. Get real. All along you "shamelessly promote" your favorite, which I bet has more to do with his loafers than his singing.
Barrett Baber was the real deal tonight, Madi Davis is highly original and i'd like to see what she does post-Voice; Zach Seabourg is the best pure performer on stage.
I actually really agreed with most of what you said. I will admit that at first I felt that Jeffrey Austin was "Clay Aiken light," (tm me), but tonight I was especially impressed. Hope he continues this trajectory. Loved Emily Ann despite a few pitch issues. I think her breathing could be improved. The others pretty much did aBout what I expected. Braiden and Korin-- oy.
