I am a hiker, and carrying around heavy equipment seriously hinders the hiking experience. I bought the Mindshift Panorama backpack for hikes that have great panoramic vistas, so that I can carry my Canon 70D and lenses. But for shorter hikes I am thinking of carrying a light camera like the Sony 6000. Today I took my compact Canon out after a long time, as I rarely use it and it was one of the most pleasurable hikes for me as I did not have to lug the heavy equipment around. It does make a difference and I am seriously thinking of getting a Sony.

I am very happy with the Canon EOS 1DX, so much so that I can't wait till the 1DX Mark II comes out next year.
I have switched from Canon to Sony and an currently selling my Canon equipmrnt.
Im invested in Canon & currently the other brands can't do what my camera can do. I'm slao working with a Sony, but would like to try out Fuji for fun
