PNJ Poll: Who is the 2015 Politician of the Year?
A. Chris Christie. He stared down the naysayers. That means YOU, you liberals and pundits.
B. Nick Sacco. Issues? His opponents must have had to invent them.
C. Steve Sweeney. With Christie gone, he was clearly the dominant figure in the Statehouse.
D. Kim Guadagno. Didn't SAY much? Bottom line, she had the keys to the kingdom.
E. George Norcross III. He should win the award every year.
F. Lou Stellato. The Bergen funeral director rose Dems from the dead.
G. Vin Gopal. It was a breakout year for Monmouth's Mr. Fantastic.
H. Ras Baraka. Who else led an occupation movement of his own city?
I. Ray Lesniak. No one can keep up with him intellectually at the Statehouse.
J. John Currie. Reelected in style to another two-year term as Democratic State Party Chairman
K. Steven Fulop. The future.
L. Phil Murphy. The living embodiment of Tip O'Neill - with a Jersey twist.
M. Shavonda Sumter. Keep an eye on her. She's the comer.
N. No one. Politicians aren't at the top of my list right now. I mean, look at the ruins of the state, the country, the planet!
O. Tom MacArthur. What a deft touch he has as the CD3 rep. Doubt it? Who's challenging him?
P. Scott Garrett. He's like that character in the baseball cap in The Usual Suspects: the one guy who simply doesn't give a damn.
Q. Jon Bramnick. Ok, the GOP lost big this year in legislative elections, but he was entertaining and FUNNY.
R. Chris Brown (the LD2 Version). I don't CARE what Sweeney says, this guy survived a major Dems' salvo this year!
