4 to 6 years ago and Cruz would beat Dillashaw so bad that it looked like T.J. had never fought a day in his life. But this is now and while Cruz is still one of the best in the world and will go down as one of the best in history, it is T.J. Dillashaws time. With his new found abilities being spurred on by the confidence received in his winning/defending of the title, Cruz is in for a long night...Or maybe a short one. It is truly unfortunate that Cruz has had so many injury set backs, my heart goes out to the guy. And the Mizugaki fight is just not enough to prove ring rust wont be a factor as well as the toll all the set backs took on him mentally. Either way, Dillashaw leaves with hand raised and the road to cementing his own legacy rages on... And a small part of Cruz knows that already.
I think Cruz feels like he needs to prove himself, the division, and especially his Style! (The originator!)
Wish them both good luck.. I just know its gonna be the best fight in the Bantamweight division history!
I think it all comes down down to Cruz's wrestling. If he can't get Dillashaw down the he's in for a long night. With Dillashaw's speed and striking I've got to give him the advantage.
