Yes, but he won't do it because he has nothing to lose politically. Respicio is desperate, but he also knows that the legislature does not have 10 votes to override the veto. Tan Barnes is hiding and will continue to do so. People need to remember that this latest attempt is just a game being concocted by Respicio so on his reelection campaign trail he will tell you he tried to repeal the raises but all along he knew it could not happen. Don't be fooled.

Also, let's hope there are smarter voters out there who see the true colors of Dennis Rodriguez, Tommy Morrison and Tony Ada, as greedy individuals who choose to be puppets of the administration, and will not make them high vote getters as they tend to be. Let's remember this in November and do this for Guam.

This is a no brainer for the Governor to undo what he knew all along, his budget could not afford. The raises were not budgeted for, so quit dancing around this issue and pay back the raises and the illegal retros. Pay down GovGu debts and stop raiding the tax refund fund, we're already suffering paying back the tenfold in interests you've borrowed to pay back years and years of our taxpayer refunds.
