Josh Bailey, West York basketball: Bailey was strong Friday night, dropping 24 points in a 71-60 road win over York Suburban. He hit 10 baskets and added a free throw to fuel the victory for West York.
Isaiah Fannin, Bermudian Springs wrestling: Fannin provided the highlight of the night in Bermudian Springs’ 36-21 win over Biglerville on Thursday. His 7-6 upset victory over Colton Sentz gave Bermudian Springs a 26-21 win and helped clinch the team’s seventh consecutive Division III title.
Donovan Catchings, Dallastown basketball: Catchings led the way for Dallastown, scoring 19 points en route to a 59-54 win over New Oxford on Friday. He dropped six points in the fourth quarter, helping the Wildcats hold on.
Steven Clawson, Central York wrestling: Clawson’s 8-0 major decision at 160 pounds fueled a 37-28 win over South Western on Thursday. He beat Tyler Osborne in the last match to clinch Central’s first win over South Western in over a decade.
Kobi Nwandu, Northeastern basketball: Nwandu scored over 20 points on consecutive nights, Thursday and Friday, both victories. He dropped 22 points on Kennard-Dale on Thursday to clinch to the Division II title and followed with 20 in a 65-55 win over Gettysburg on Friday.
Aidan Fryar, York Suburban swimming: Fryar won two individual events and swam on two winning relay teams in a 93.5-76.5 win over Dover on Friday. He took the 50 and 100 free individual events and capped the meet with victories in the 200 medley and 200 free relays.
