Rain 90 Days After A Fog - Scientific or Folklore?

I have heard 90 days after a fog and I’ve also heard 100 days after a fog. Plus in later years I heard people say between 90 and 100 days after a fog. So, the range probably gives us pretty good chances that in that 10 or 11 day period, some rain may occur! Regardless, it’s a bit of fun.

Could mean rain in this years case it means wind. As we know in sask the weather can change in an instant.

90 day fog then rain is happenstance.
It's more accurate to observe the West Butte of the Sweetgrass Hills
