We are very happy to here this is being reviewed, fire pit burning has ruined many evenings for myself, my wife and our friends. We all like to sit out and enjoy the summer evening,but not when a stinky fire pit from neighbours is blowing into our yard . Also it's nice to leave your bedroom windows open at bed , but again not an option if fire pit smoke is entering your house. Just to add to the problem sinus and upper respiratory issues are brought to a peek with this type of smoke. If the smoke could be contained to the yards that are having the fire pits this wouldn't be an issue. So fire pits should be banned in residential areas as they are obviously annoying to most of us, as noted by your pole.
