I support Hillary, regardless of multiple attacks from journalists, she defended herself really well. Sanders is still the " innocent " candidate without any scandal yet, well, his wife is the one in trouble, but to effects of the debate, he is still using his repetitive brainwash socialist line "the establishment and Wall Street".

  • Ginny - 8 years ago

Hillary was pathetic. Bernie definitely won the debate. Hillary lies and more and more citizens are noticing her dishonesty. Bernie is golden. He is genuine, and is getting my vote.

  • Decided last night. - 8 years ago

After this debate I have made up my mind. Was pretty sure to go for Clinton this election, but Bernie: You have my vote. Won the debate by far. #FloridaForBernie

  • j north - 8 years ago

Bernie hit it out of the park last night by far his best performance this entire election.

  • Joan Foster - 8 years ago

Bernie is supported by the Give Me Free Stiuff people. Will never happen. His plan to tax Wall Sreet will not pass. The 1% movement happened by the Occupy Wall Street group. Sanders is using the movement for political advantage.

  • Erin Fox - 8 years ago

There is a breakdown of the average time each candidate was allowed to speak. The figures showed Hillary was allowed more than 1/3 more speaking time. Additionally, she interrupted Sanders about every time he started to make a point. Sanders was focused, direct and Presidential. I loved the standing o and chanting for him at the end! He won!

    I am totally Biased.....
But man did it "feel" like Bernando Kicked her @ss in the 2nd hour!

Hillary was thinking: "No Mas! No Mas!"
    lol.

  • Kris Craig - 8 years ago

Anyone remember where Obama's 2008 "Yes, we can!" slogan originated? It was in response to Hillary Clinton responding to pretty much anything he proposed with "No, we can't!"

I think it's time to bring it back: Yes, we CAN!!

BERNIE SANDERS IN MY VIEW SAID WHAT NEEDED TO BE SAID , HE WOULD COMPARE HIS RECORD FOR STICKING UP FOR THE AMERICAN WORKING CLASS OVER A 30 YEAR PERIOD ANYDAY. I THINK HE MADE HER LOOK LIKE A FISH OUT OF WATER . IM GONNA MAKE THIS BOLD STATEMENT .....HILLARY CLINTON DESPITE THE TV MEDIA AND THE ONE SIDEDNESS FROMTHEDNC , THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE SMARTER THAN ALL HILLARY'S CHEERLEADERS. #BERNIES GONNA WIN THI ELECTION BY A LANDSLIDE.

  • Samson - 8 years ago

Hillary Clinton won the debate hands down... Bernie is good and all but his ideas would never happen as they would never be approved in three house and senate... They are not realistic and living in a country that has so much debt, we cannot expect free college tuition for everyone, we already have free public high schools... Hillary knows where the country is now and it will not take her her whole 1st term to figure it out....

  • kay hoffer - 8 years ago

I have watched Bernie for many years. He is Ind. He usually votes along with the Dem.. I have never seen him do anything by himself.e is anice guy but lets get real a Pres. he is not. I am sure he believes what he says but it is not logical to pay for everyone to go to college. Why not offer more grants for people to get training in what jobs they would like. This country needs lots of trade people , nurses, dr. and therapist. Not all people need acollege degree. Thanks and GOD BLESS AMERICA vote who ever yiou want. asfor me itsHillary.

Looks like the Republicans are paying good to post and votes for Sanders in the online polls, they are just so scared of Clinton.
They are wasting their money. Clinton will take it all and easy too..

  • joe damico - 8 years ago

Clinton kicked Sanders butt, he look like a nut and I am guessing he has lost a lot of money in the stock market with the way he talks about wall street. Really sick of hearing his 25 sec speech 10 times every 10 min. Oh and by the way like Trump, Sanders will not give you the free stuff he keeps saying he will. But I guess like Trump he thinks if he is President he can do anything. Spoiler, you get nothing from sanders.

  • Brandon - 8 years ago

I wonder if Hillary has spent one minute thinking about Flint since losing Michigan. Does Ohio have a humanitarian crisis worth exploiting?

  • Brandon - 8 years ago

To the Hillary supporters who keep saying that the Republicans focus their attacks squarely on Hillary because they fear her and they don't fear Bernie. No. They are operating under the realist position that there is no way Bernie Sanders can win the nomination because the process is rigged and because Hillary is funded by every Corporate interest known to man. But....they are wrong. Because we are going to take the party back from you Corporate sellouts!

  • Bubs - 8 years ago

Funny that Bernie can attack Hillary on anything but if she attacks or defends OMG she is horrible...example Hillary was not President in the 90's she was The first lady supporting her husband as every single first lady has done. Then she went on to become senator and that is when she was able to share her views ..,stop blaming her for what Bill did Bernie. She can and has explained Her views and actions...Hers not her husbands. And The truth is that the Republicans are out to destroy her they don't go after Bernie .,,,why is that ..because ...they know Hillary can win...they are not afraid of Bernie

I liked the Hispanic and Latin America focus of this debate. I saw a man who expanded on his answers to questions and he used facts honestly and well to back up his congressional record and judgement. In the more contentious parts of the debate he did extremely well and over came Hillary Clinton's critical remarks to Bernie Sanders point by point. Bernie won this debate in my opinion.

  • Linda Scott - 8 years ago

Yes, she is untrustworthy. Obviously. A liar - or story changer? yes. A manipulator? yes. A defender of nothing and no one except her lies? yes. A friend of Univision and The Onion (and it's owners?) to the tune of $2,046,600.00 and another $10,000,000.00 to the amazing Clinton Foundation? yes. But, thank you for an "unbiased" debate, for the benefit of Latinos and all of us who feel the Bern. To truth, honesty, integrity, the good American People, and the good People of the World, regardless of where they are born, the color of their eyes, skin, hair, faith or status. We are all human. And we have rights as humans.

  • John Campbell - 8 years ago

Bernie crushed her. Standing "O" at the end. Killed her on fracking. She sure didn't like the email, Bengazie and honestly questions. Who believes that Wall Street is giving her money and not getting a friend when her son in law is a hedge fund manager. Come on people wise up to her lies.

  • Donna - 8 years ago

You must be Bernie supporters because in all honesty, I think this one was a draw. I do think the video of Sanders complementing Castro is going to bite him in the butt. Also he did not vote for Kennedy's bill and he did not vote for the auto bailout. It does not matter that he supported the idea and then voted against the bill that would provide the money. Ideas of Betnie versus actions of Hillary.

  • Mark - 8 years ago

I love how the HIllary team got whiff of this poll and then started trying to minimize the damage. God, she must blow through money fast :)

  • Chris - 8 years ago

I will vote for Cruz if Clinton drop out, enough said.

  • Ed - 8 years ago

Bernie says he likes Castro but he'd be in jail in Cuba for expressing his ideas

  • Mary Ann Snow - 8 years ago

Really? - Sanders won? Bernie Sanders should explain to everybody how all off these country changing plans are going to be put into effect. Anyone can promise anything. Hilary speaks with a knowledge of government and what it takes to get something done - I'm amazed that the American public have fallen for all the Sander's rhetoric. We face a devastating problem with the Mid-East. We need a commander-in-chief that can hit the ground running. Bernie Sanders - Really? He's more than a joke. He's dangerous. Right there with Trump.

  • Ed - 8 years ago

Bernie is a good socialist not a Democrat. I like the talk but he's had a lot of time in office and like a lot of old and white guys - - doesn't get much done. We need a woman to do the hard work - women are the backbone of this country and who can blame them for taking money to beat the guys at their own game. You all purists are sexists too and don't see the hypocrisy.

It's kind of a scandal that the Washington Post hosts a Democratic dabate, after it persistently denuciated Bernie Sanders over and over again in such a shameful and unjustified way (for example it must have been a new record that this so called liberal medium published 16 (!!!) stories against Sanders in only 16 hours). It's such a smear campaign. So do you really expect a fair debate and and a fair coverage?! The Washington Post declared Clinton the winner. Whatca YUUUUGE surprise. They are just afraid of Sanders and his plans to remove tax break for rich people. They'd do ANYTHING to prevent him from becoming President!

  • Sue - 8 years ago

From Bill Curry, former Clinton staffer...

"I often talk to Democrats who don’t know Obama chose not to raise the minimum wage as president even though he had the votes for it; that he was willing to cut Medicare and Social Security and chose not to prosecute Wall Street crimes or pursue ethics reforms in government. They don’t know he dropped the public option or the aid he promised homeowners victimized by mortgage lenders. They don’t know and don’t want to know. Their affection for Bill and Barack — and their fear of Republicans — run too deep."

WHY? Third Way. Founded by the Clintons it's the elite corporate insiders of the Democratic Party. Obamas a member.

    #BernieSanders

Bernie won. Hillary was low energy and her attacks at Bernie were pathetic. Her claim that she's not a natural politician was beyond the pale; she epitomizes a classic politician.and she looks like a rat.

  • Will Bloodworth - 8 years ago

I tried to stay unbiased watching this, and even felt Univision was being kind of harder on her than on Bernie... but eventually, her answers were what hanged her, and Bernie had a solid 6-8 lines that were essentially knockout punches. It wasn't even close... now go check out the mainstream headlines on, like, Washington Post and CNN.com and see how little credit they give him for it. Total crap.

  • John Atkinson - 8 years ago

Bernie Sanders unquestionably being felt all across the nation. Our media is so corrupt. #FeelTheBern!

  • Mandy - 8 years ago

Hell yeah, he won. You can tell because Univision let her ramble on for 3 minutes straight and barely even let him respond to her blatant lies. They are trying to keep his message from reaching the masses, but they can't.

  • Denise Mirto - 8 years ago

Bernie Sanders is the absolute victor in tonight's debate-succint- to the point-

  • Joseph Tedros - 8 years ago

Bernie Sanders won in my opinion because politicians pay back the people they get the money from, Hillary gets her money from corporations and Bernie gets his money from the people, the people he will ultimately serve.

  • Tim Smith - 8 years ago

BERNIE CRUSEHD HER.(to the person who said it was scripted: lol wtf)

  • Jimmy J - 8 years ago

The only thing that was confirmed tonight is that Clinton is a liar and cannot be trusted.

  • Francisco Gonzalez - 8 years ago

Definitely Clinton felt the Bern tonight!!! Bernie! Bernie! Bernie!

  • Henry Misserville - 8 years ago

Sanders closing statement says it all. He's for working class and middle class folks struggling to make ends meet while the .1% reap all the profits of the recovery. Clinton's closing was rather pandering and uneventful.

  • Not voting for hillary - 8 years ago

Hillary speaks rehearsed lines to get an applause. Bernie speaks from the heart.

  • Mary Pezzi - 8 years ago

#HillaryClinton is fully supported by the VULTURE CAPITALISTS that are bankrupting #PuertoRico just for openers!!!! The Crony-Capitalist Hillary Clinton is the queen of #WallStreet that crushes working and middle class people. Any time Bernie Sanders was making a point -- Univision tried to shut him up and move back to Clinton ---- #DemDebate.

  • Mary Pezzi - 8 years ago

This is the most SCRIPTED #DemDebate I have ever seen SHAME ON #Univison!
