With recent developments in international affairs eg Brexit and the 2016 US Election result, extra impetus towards ratifying this agreement should be pushed by those responsible for the Commonwealth.

The poll is a bit elusive in omitting Canada from the descriptive sentence, especially when considering it is open to international 'voters' despite being a strawpoll only.

As a Kiwi I think a mobility agreement between all four Countries would be advantageous to the Liberty, Economic prosperity and Security of the citizens of each.

I would love to be able to freely move to my husbands birth country and work. It would be good to split our time so both our families could get to know us as a family.

We should be citizens of the world. We should see the world as one country and be united. I get that there are countries that are corrupt, unstable, violent, and dangerous. As we do now we need to ensure the safety of everyone's well being. So countries like that should be excluded for now until they can resolve their issues while the rest of the world tries to help them so they can be a part of the world citizenship . So many countries have the desire for peace and generally have the same values. Why shouldn't we become citizens of the world if we have the same values. We are taught at a young age to be proud of our country and to be nationalistic. We shouldn't forget where we come from or what our culture is. That is the beauty of the world but the first thing we should be taught is we are all United. The EU when bringing in a new country to be a part of the EU they are basically on a probationary like period they don't have full eu benefits but eventually they do when they have proved things are going well. That is how things should be done when new countries get included into global citizenship. We won't have to put labels on each other that you are an immigrant while others are citizens. We can all be equal citizens of the world.

UK and US citizens can go live and work in some of Caribbean islands anytime ie British can go Barbados or BVI anytime, US can go UVI anytime , Hawaii and Florida belongs to US too, We Canadians have nowhere to go to Caribbean island where we can work live anytime, but we heard there is one tiny island owned by Canada , cant remember name, if you can add at least one island or make arrangements to add tropical weather islands where we can go live work anytime would be so nice. New Zealand has nice weather but too far and nothing ie Caribbean islands . Thanks

There is a strong grassroots feeling here in the UK that we should leave the rotten, corrupt, dysfunctional EU and rebuild our Commonwealth links. There's a good chance that we'll 'Brexit' and if so I hope we can have a free trade zone in the Commonwealth and freedom of movement amongst the Commonwealth Realms.

I am old enough to remember what life was like in the UK before we joined the EU. We ate New Zealand lamb and butter, and South African fruit, and my parents had friends from Canada, Oz and NZ all living in our little village in Berkshire. It was a great arrangement and a tragedy that the traitor Edward Heath took us into the EU.

This initiative is long overdue and is a win-win for all four countries. The agreement should also include university student work programs.

An agreement as proposed between truly democratic countries with longstanding links and shared goals and aspirations is viewed as most sensible and desirable.
